GREAT VISABILITY UNDER WATER; CAN CONVERT OLD FILES TO LOG BOOK
Wow, great flexibility with color and light; able to convert old files with Galileo Luna and add to log book.

Powerful but not overwhelming
So I've been diving steam dial gauges for quite some time now, and after visiting the local dive shop and getting my hands on the G2, I was hooked. So I pulled the trigger on purchasing the G2 and after the first dive with it I seriously can't believe how I've been diving for so long without this thing. The amount of information it gives you is incredible, and gives me peace of mind. For example when I am ascending, the "ascending too fast" warning is such a cool feature... And it shows my safety stops! Now a feature that I wouldn't have thought about was the compass, I love that I can set my bearing mark, and periodically check my direction to make sure I'm on course. If you're considering this, just press that buy button, you won't be sorry.

Serious Computer for the Serious Diver.
I bought my G2 at a local dive shop. I always take care of the people to service my gear and fill my tanks. But if you are not near or loyal to a dive shop this is a great deal. The G2 is perhaps the most capable and customizable computer on the market. One of my favorite features is that it is still readable in direct sunlight . The compas is awesome. The thing is so customizable you can make it do just about anything. I store pics of dive maps in mine for nav reference at my favorite dive sites. The Apnea mode(free diving) is awesome for free dive training. And the optional Micro Bubble features make a difference on diver fatigue post dive. This computer will take you all the way to tech diving with CCR If you need it. It will sync with up to 9 tank pods so you can do crazy stuff and software support for sidemount diving.
