Rechargeable LED Work Light Torch 1 Million Candle Power Spotlight Hand Lamp

I had a very similar conventional bulb version of this light with the same casing which has lasted probably about 15 years (with one replacement battery). Because all the casing etc. is still in excellent condition, I ordered this one so that I have a spare case / lens etc. This one is much lighter (presumably because the battery is a lot smaller). I am very positive about it but it may be a bit bulky for some users. I am not sure if it is as bright as the one it replaces but I wouldn't look into the light personally. I think it represents good value. A bit early to report on battery life yet. Still on the first charge.

I bought this torch 7 months ago and was delighted with it's brightness, long beam and ease of use, but despite charging it once a month as instructed it let me down recently when it failed to charge, the charger light immediately went green when connected and didn't get warm as expected, there was still some life in the battery so I used it until it ran flat. I then tried to charge it again but once more the green light immediately came on, so I pressed the on button and the torch lit up and the charger light turned red. This proved to me that the problem was with the battery and not the charger. Armed with this information I phoned Strictly Lamps on Wed. 27th. Jan. 2021 and described the problem, they agreed that it was a battery issue and said that they would send me a replacement torch. This arrived three days later. So great customer service from Strictly Lamps and I'm hoping for greater longevity from this new replacement. 5/5 stars for Strictly Lamps.

Works brilliantly. Haven't had to recharge yet since the initial charge on arrival. Lights the way very well and illuminates a decent area around even when pointed directly at the ground from waist height.However although really lightweight, I feel it could stand a little weight added by use of more robust parts in the mechanism for switching the handle as one slight knock while walking the dogs has broken the position lock on the handle.

i looked at loads of different torches online and read god knows how many reviews and in the end this one seemed to be the best. Once ordered it took about a week for delivery and then I gave it an initial over night charge, and since then I've used it countless times for a few minutes at a time and still on the original charge. This torch has been absolutely brilliant. Great beam of bright white light that I would describe more as a spotlight than a flood light, as the bean is quite specific. I would definitely recommend this torch, a single charge lasts ages, the beam is bright and the torch is well made and fairly robust. Don't bother reading hundreds of reviews like I did, you've found a good one, now buy it!

Sturdy, reliable, very bright

If frightening roosting pigeons in trees late at night is your way of spending the evening, this is for you. I bought it to replace a different but very similar looking torch from a well known DIY chain which also started well but proved to have a battery with a charge life measured in minutes.This one is still on its second charge from August (depends on your usage of course) and produces an intense narrow beam of light that throws for many metres - so its not a diffuse general area floodlight. It isn't too heavy, its ergonomic in design and I thoroughly recommend it as a night time exterior torch. Please note that many pigeons would disagree.

Do not buy this torch!It was not as bright as advertised and the components were just rattling around inside the case.We returned it a day after receiving it using amazons return label and heard nothing more and after an A to Z complaint, still nothing. A complete waste of money and frustration.
