It does work, but works better before ink does to much.
Not as effective as I had hoped, I think because the eraser is a bit softer than I'm used to. Previously used other erasers that worked better.

WORKS OK ON MOST INKED AREAS, NOT SO WELL ON LIBRARY STAMPS.
It erases ink quite easily. It does not erase easily x-lib stamps. I used it on a library stamp recently and barely erased it compromising the integrity of the paper in the process.

Not quite a magic wand but not far from
It pretty much did what it promised.I'd inked notes in a book I had over 40 years ago. I lost the book and recently found it.The notes had 'lost their charm' and no longer meant anything to me.I got one of these erasers and worked away at it patiently. It was biro on 120gsm paper so could take a bit of rubbing with minimal damageI smoothed the minor flecks of remaining ink and roughness with a standard 'ink' eraser. The total time i took was probably 5 mins per inch of writing. So after a few hours of work I've eroded less than 5% of the eraserThe book is now much less wince-making.If you didn't know you would never guess that I had vandalised it

The actual block eroded quickly with use and it was quite expensive. Didn't really do the job without disintegrating the paper! caveat emptor!

Pen Eraser remover
The eraser is like a sandpaper block. It is very abrasive so you need to be careful, when you are using it

Not bad
With a very light touch and a lot of patience it almost removes Niro, though the paper surface is no longer smooth.
