Great adhesive quality. Installed in hood of my older car. Much quieter now

I bought this as the acoustic pad had fallen off the bottom of my sink bowl and washing up got a tad noisy. Flexible for bending up the sides (the piece was bigger than I needed so its got a full wrap around!) and simple to cut with scissors. It's been on a few months and shows no signs of coming unstuck. Not used in the way the product was intended I'm sure, but works a treat.

This is quite a poor quality foam. It rips apart easily and the glue doesn't stick so well. It also gives me the feeling that this will dry out and turn to dust in a very short period.

Bought this mat to go under my husband's turbo trainer which is in bedroom and it works really well, before it sounded and felt like a Boeing 747 was revving engines above and we couldn't hear the tv on full blast with the sound bar on full, now it's a dull sound with a bit vibrating and the tv only has to go up a bit so well we worth the money.

Cuts the road noise down amazingly

They must have sent me a bad bit. Hard to use without getting your fingers glued to it and rips with ease. Touch it with an impliment and it just comes apart. I think the only thing holding it together is the sticky back. I have made a bad purhases, i also see it comes from china so that says it all. I only gave it 1* because it came early. Not what i was expecting and not what i thought i was buying. My loss. Whoever gave this stuff 4 or5 *'s must have got a diffetent product.

Different with images and poor quality

I purchased this to make some computer hardware less loud after changing all the fans to Noctua models still left me with more noise than I wanted (and the last fan I could change is a PSU fan that I don't want to deal with right now). The adhesive appears to be adequate, just clean surfaces with isopropanol first. And it does an adequate job at a very affordable price.You will wind up with small bits of foam and adhesive stuck to your hands when working with this, but it comes off easily with soap and water (which we should all be good at using after 2 years of COVID-19).TLDR:The Good;- Dampens sounds.- Cuts easily.The Bad;- Not magic.The Meh;- Comes folded instead of rolled. This may result in creases at the edges of pieces you want to cut.

Good price, quality. I purchased this foam for use on my kitchen sink where the existing deadening foam rubber was starting to peel away. This product, I imagine, could also be used for other lining jobs, not only for automobiles, sinks, in my case, but also in storage containers and equipment cases as a protective barrier for protection from scratching or content damage.
