WeerideCo Pilot Tagalong Trailer Child Bike Seat - Silver

Took my son to school on it this morning and he couldn't stop smiling. Easy enough to fit. There are two triangle bits on the hinge which prevent a full turn and end up moving the seat post fitting for even a modest corner, I took an angle grinder to them and it now works much better.

Bought to take my son longer cycles than he could manage on his own, as he'd outgrown his Hamax seat.Trailer is sturdy and well made. Handles off-road trails well, even some blue and green MTB trails at Glentress. Could do with filing the small flanges off the swivel bracket to give more freedom for sharper turns though.

After reading other reviews and finding nowhere near enough lateral flexibility in the towing joint with the lugs present I sawed them of and filed them down, having done this however you do need to make sure the clamp onto the towing bike is very secure by removing the stick on pads and making sure the clamp is metal on metal very tight and that the saddle post is also very tight because if it turns it can tip your little one off on corners with the lugs gone! Fortunately I was testing it in a soft field! It is very heavy so make sure your brakes are adjusted tighter than normal for extra stopping power. Little one does love it though, wanted to go cycling all afternoon, she loved the trailer I had before as well but she's grown out of that now so I'll probably just use that for shopping.

I love this!! Really simple to clip onto my bike and perfect for zipping around town on! We use this to get to school most days and it's still in good condition! Good investment!

I like this bike and was very enthusiastic about using it for the school run. After one week, two of the bolts that hold the bike together on the front bar came out while cycling. I didn't notice this when I was on the bike. After picking up my little one from school the weeride bike suddenly snatched off the carrier bike and my child landed on the pavement.... luckily, I was then only pushing the bike, otherwise we could have had a serious accident. I spoke to the seller and they told me they had never experienced a case like this. The bike is now back to the shop for replacement, as the lost bolts cannot be replaced. In short, this is a great bike, but before using it, make sure you have double checked it with a professional bike mechanic....
