DeWalt Apprentice, Men's Safety Boots, Honey Nubuck, 11 UK (45 EU) Wheat

I bought these work boots for my son who is a joiner, well they had to be better than the light weight, canvas, VANS skate shoes that he had been wearing on the building site!!Having had comfort issue with steel toe capped boots in the past he really loves these and happily wears them all day. They have a really solid toe cap and sole and look rather stylish, at least they did until they got covered in brick dust and plaster, but my fashion conscious son still loves them!

These boots were ordered as a matter of course - they are safety boots which my builder son insists are the only boots for the job. They are comfortable whatever the weather and wear "like iron" and are approved by the HSE inspectors each time a site is checked. They may not be the cheapest safety boot on the market but they certainly represent the best value for money and long wear.

The left boot toecap rubs my big toe. The last pair I had rubbed my toes where the toe cap starts, so I bough a larger size .Gutted.

Comfortable with good ankle support, have tried various boots, always come back to these.

I liked. Comfortable. And After two week using is very comfortable. The only thing I didn't like is it gets dirty easily, I should have bought it in black.

Felt the need to review this item so other people can avoid the pitfall of ordering the wrong size boot. I had seen other reviews which said order a size smaller but I didn't take any notice as once thick work socks are worn they should fit, however they were far, far to big. I'm a comfortable size 11 but these boots in size 11 even with two pairs of socks were too big, defiantly the equivalent to a size 12. On the box its states "we build in technology, so you can work in comfort" that's nice of them but you would think DeWalt could get a shoe size right first. Amazon were fantastic with the return and I re-ordered a size 10 which are still a little large but much better fit. The boots seem very good quality for the prize, but needed to worn future buyers regarding size issue.
