Q: How do you keep the back sitting up like in photo?

To keep the back up like in the photo, you'll want to stand up your Yogibo, then fold over the top portion. Next, sit down like you mean it - your knees should be at a 90 degree angle. Then you can pull up your feet if you'd like, or sit like a chair. When you move or lean, the Yogibo will go with you - that's how it's designed, is to conform with you :)

Q: This says claws friendly on their website. Does anyone actually have cats that do ok walking on these chairs?

My first time using this bag was at a friend's house and they have had it for years and thats with 5 dogs and 5 cats and a child, and they had one small hole they hand stiched. I've got two cats and it's held up just fine. The key is don't allow your pet to scratch on it. It only took a couple of no's and it held up to that just fine. Wonderful product.
