This is a review of Zeller 17102 Valet Stand Wood Metal / 45 x 30 x 108I got this as I wanted a slightly more elegant way of storing clothes rather than just throwing them on a chair or on the floor.I ordered the wood/metal version. In the photos on the Product Page the wood is all pale. In the one I got the trinkets tray was of pale wood, with the rest of it considerably darker. I thought this might have been a mistake, but it matches the picture on the carton. Thus be aware that what I was sent (and so what you might be sent) was different to the pictures on here.Assembly is easy - it took me about 30 minutes (and I'm no DIY-er). All that is required is a screwdriver.The instructions are clear but make sure you put the two poles into the wooden coat hanger bit before you screw everything together. Otherwise you'll have to undo and start again. Thanks to another reviewer for pointing that out.It's quite a low thing - slightly over waist high.I found it takes all I need - trousers and tie over the front bar, and shirt / jacket over the back.It's quite stable - I put jeans with a heavy belt on the trouser rack and it did not topple forward even with nothing else on the back, and with the jean's waist and belt hanging over the front.Clearly this is an extravagance - if I can be bothered to hang my clothes on this, why can't I just put them on hangers in the wardrobe?However I'm happy with my purchase.

I too was a fan of slinging clothes on the floor and having a mountain to cross to get to bed ... since having this valet I haven't slung on the floor once. It keeps me tidy and my husband happy. It looks stylish in the room and has plenty of practical space for hanging clothes plus a tray for knick knacks from your pockets! Delivery was fast. Assembly was so-so as they instructions are limited but still didn't take that long. I had hoped the wood colour would have been more of a warm oak but it is more like cherry which isn't a perfect match for my bedroom furniture. Nevertheless the clothes cover most of the wood and it looks great in the room anyway. Great value too! I'm so pleased I bought this.

I purchased this item as I wanted to be more tidy/organised in our bedroom. We contantly had clothes strewn across a chair - never sat on it!I now have his and hers valet stands and as a result a much tidier room.The items are reasonably solid, easy to assemble and look good. And I can now sit on the chair!

Perfectly made - easy to assemble - sturdy and looks great!

This was brought a while ago as a present and has just been opened. The stand is great, does exactly what was wanted and fits nicely in the corner. The main negative is that I had wanted a light oak or ash colour to match the rest of the bedroom, and the photo is misleading as the colour is actually dark reddish brown. As this doesn't fit in it at all, it will probably get replaced or a coat of paint which is a shame as I like the wood/metal combination.

For years I had an exercise bike in my bathroom. My wife used it to hang clothes. Finally I recycled it and chose this as a replacement. It's a substantial product, it does the job better than the old bike, takes up less room, and is much more aesthetically acceptable. Note of caution, when assembling, fit the jacket hanger to the supports before you do anything else, otherwise you will have to go back to the beginning.

Overall very good quality just as shown in the photos. It took me just under half an hour to assemble, bear in mind I’m a completely useless when it comes to DYI stuff so if I can manage, anyone can.

Having seen some of the reviews I was a bit dubious - but this is a well made, stylish and very easy to assemble valet stand. It has a good heavyweight base so simply does not tip over. All in all I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone.
