Ensure you have a means of offloading from an artic lorry. Items weighs over 130kg
Good quality item and easy to use safefully. Scissor mechanism means the bike is very stable when raising and lowering.I have a multistrada and the platform is only just long enough total the bike, so carefully check dimensions if you have a big bike.

Won't work as advertised.
The first line on the first page of the instructions says:WARNING! THIS LIFT IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR MOTORCYCLES WHICH HAVE A CENTRE STANDAnd yet it is impossible to clamp the front wheel of the motorbike and then put the bike on the centre stand. What Sealey seem to have forgotten is that to put a bike on it's centre stand the bike has to roll backwards a foot or so. This obviously can't happen when the front wheel is clamped.Alternatively, one could put the bike on the centre stand first, but then of course it is impossible to reach the clamp with the front wheel.I imagine that one could clamp the front wheel and then jack the bike up with a scissor jack to lower the centre stand. But this seems unnecessarily hazardous and is not covered in the instructions. In addition, the front wheel clamp is of very indifferent quality and needs to be replaced with something much more substantial before the lift is safe to use.All-in-all a poorly designed and indifferently constructed piece of equipment that doesn't work as advertised and need considerable modification in construction and use before it's safe to use.
