Fantastic
I loved these DVDs, it was great to have some variety rather than just doing the Tracy Anderson Mat Workout. I can understand why Tracy Anderson receives a lot of flack for her lack of instruction. However I think the key is to be patient and persevere. Go at your own pace and try doing it in front of the mirror if you can.I've been doing Tracy's DVDs for around 2 years now. Admittedly I got bored after a year as I was only using her Mat Workout DVD. I tried Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred after hearing so many rave reviews and although it was a shorter workout I found myself getting really muscly and bulky. I couldn't wait to get back to using Tracys Mat Workout as she creates a much more feminine outline.Tracys style may not be for everyone, some people might get motivated by the more hands on, gregarious fitness instructors. Personally I like that Tracy's not always talking as it gives me more time to think about what I'm doing and making the most of the reps.

Great alternative to the original mat workout.
I have done TA's original mat work out for many years and I wanted another of her DVD's to give me a bit of variety but sticking to the same style of workout, because her method works for me. Granted she is not the best instructor in the world, and there always seem to be minor mistakes on the DVD's but I don't mind that at all and I find it easy enough to follow her moves. Maybe I find following her moves easy coming from a dancing background. It works and I feel like I've done a good workout afterwards. I like that there are different levels to this series so I can advance through over time. The beginner one is hard enough to start with though! :-)

The best workouts ever!!!
Abdolutley love Tracy Anderson's workouts!! I have been doing them for approx 3 1/2 years. I have gr8t abs, firm legs,lovely toned arms & shoulders and a beautiful high booty!! The excercises are a little difficult at first but yout body soon get's used to the reps!! I have done many workout dvds and classes but i find Tracy to b the best! I an aware that there are alot of mistakes in her dvd's but that aside if i feel this good who cares! Just persever and you wilk get gr8t results x i workout 6 days a week alternating between muscle structure and dance cardio as i work full time but still do approx 1hr a night and do my housework and take care if my family!! a completely different way to challenge your body
I know Tracy attracts her critics and her fans, I am a fan. This is a series of challenging workouts, which work the body in a very different way to ;traditional' workouts. One of the key things is to 'internalise' the movements so that you get to understand the feeling in the muscles when you are achieveing propert technique. I think this is why Tracy instructs only a little on technique so that you don't just copy, but learn how to do the moves without even using the dvd.

Should of looked into reviews before hand
I knew Tracy had helped a ton of celebrities get their bodies so I purchased this dvd without much thought other than what a good price for what 3 dvds. I wish I'd looked into it because I turned this on and was bored within one second and haven't revisited it since. Basically it has 3 levels and each dvd is a different level. The music is just a tune repeated and the moves are just based on toning, no cardio which is what I prefer.

Results fast
To understand Tracy and how she achieves results, its best to start with her first DVD, because only then will you understand how she performs her routines. Tracy has a tendency to break out into her own little dance routine and most of this is very hard to follow, but you do get good results with her workouts and personally I love them

Very messy and hard (virtually impossible) to follow for arms and standing abs, even with experience.
Sorry but this is a nightmare to follow. The legs and stomach are OK, very advanced even on the first DVD and I am reasonably fit and able from a dance back ground. The stomach and arms are just very messy and virtually impossible to work out what is being done! Total waste of money. The Trace Anderson Method is a much better bet - her method really does get results if you are prepared to put in the regular effort!
