Sweeeeet
Took a while to recieve, but mine were worth the wait. They were clear and nickle plated as described. They fit all my Waterman Expert and Hemisphere pens, but the Hemisphere you need a little force the first time. Otherwise, excellent quality in my opinion. I like them better than the oem Waterman ones.

Fountain Pen Converter
Like a simple screwdriver....pretty mundane. Really only a few issues that I can think of. Does it fit and does it work and does it last.Answer: It fit fine, it does what it is supposed to do....as for lasting....ask me in a year...it is new now.....only time will tell if it continues to work.

It holds ink.
I have used converters before. This one fits my Waterman pen well. It does what it is supposed to do. I attach it to the nib, dip the nib in ink, and twist the converter. The ink is dawn up in the converter. I buy my ink in 50 ml bottles rather than using cartidges. There is a cost saving using converters over cartriges. A 50 ml bottle of ink cost about the same as eight 1-2 ml cartridges.

MUST HAVE FOR CARTIDGE/CONVERTER FOUNTAIN PENS
A WONDERFUL ITEM TO MAKE YOUR FOUNTAIN PEN MORE VERSATILE IN USING INK FROM A BOTTLE INSTEAD OF A CARTRIDGE. HIGHER QUALITY THAN OTHER BRANDS OF THIS TYPE AND APPEARS TO HOLD MORE INK WHICH MEANS LONGER WRITING TIME!

Works perfectly, but different color from picture
Work like a standard converters and fit perfectly in my Waterman fountain pens. Do note that if you are particular about color, or if your fountain pen is clear plastic, the converters I received were green colored and not clear, as is pictured (as of 9/30/13).

This is NOT a Schmidt K5 converter.
This is NOT a Schmidt K5 converter.I use a lot of Schmidts. I make pens, and K5s and K6s are what I use standard. These converters are smaller, have a slightly smaller front metal piece, a different plunger, and the screw in mechanism is loose so it wiggles around a bit. They fit international size pens, but aren't particularly tight and secure in some styles.I will just go back to the real Schmidts I buy from exotic blanks when I order parts. They are only .25 or .50 cents more.Additionally, they are green. When I purchased mine the picture was of clear ones, though it looks to have been updated by the time I came back to write this review.

a very good converter if you have a pen they fit
I bought these some time ago. Clearly solid, they unfortunately fit none of my pens. Recently thoughI bought a Kaweco Dia2 Fountain Pen with Chrome Accents. It is a very nice pen, but Kaweco convertersdon't work so well (I have two: one for this pen and a second for their Kaweco AL Sport Fountain Pen). Moreover, they are small. I was therefore very pleased when I found the bluRAFIA works perfectly withthe Dia2 Fountain pen and holds considerably more ink. (It is too long for the AL Sport Fountain Pen.)At the price they go for, it has now paid for itself, and I have two more converter that likely Iwill someday own pens in which they fit!

I would buy these again
Nice quality. Works great and I expect them to continue to work well.
