Perfect buy, perfect size.
Brilliant hammer - I’ve had this a while now and wasn’t even going to get it, I was going to get the size 4 but ended up buying this as it was cheaper, this size 3 is enough to beat out most of the HGV track rods and all other jobs that require a softer face (not talking about the apprentice) I have no doubt this hammer will out live me.It’s not too heavy and you can have many strikes without getting tired, the faces are soft but very durable and I don’t think I will ever need a new handle, this one is strong and has a nice feel to it.I’ve not been easy on this size 3 and it’s been perfect

Good weight and quality
A nice hammer, packaging was rubbish and a couple of chips on the copper face because it was too heavy for the flimsy card wrap it was placed in. Nothing too bad though. Quality is superb its a lovely tool too nice to use really

Superbly made but wow its big and heavy !
Replacement for a v v old copper hammer.I had not realised how heavy this was going to be. Might have bought the size 1 had I'd known ?For comparison, photo shows the 4 hammers I use in my workshop. They weigh:3.5 oz pin hammer - 145g12 oz hammer - 434gOx rubber mallet - 719gThor copper mallet - 1,293gMostly used to separate Morse tapered stuff - and it certainly will be well capable of that !

Traditional brass hammer, very high quality
This thing is awesome. Have got myself an old Land Cruiser and hitting stuff, hard, with a hammer is required in many cases. Thor have been making these for decades, maybe longer, and it shows. I love my hammerSize 2 is a good choice if you want some heft while still being useable one handed. Certainly lands a good thump

Its softer than using steel hammer
I used this hammer to knocking a pin into arm on a machine this saved the pin being bruised by hammer

Quality product
I ordered a size 4 hammer but it's a bit larger than I expected. should have got a size 3. Still... it will do the job nicely and as always, the THOR quality shows.
