Slight Fruity Notes
Good coffee, a little too fruity for me. Coffee was very fresh when received and beans were dry.

Best yet by far
I’m on a hunt for the very best tasting coffee which is reasonably priced. So far, this is the best! I typically bought dark roasts but this medium roast is tastier with all the boldness of most dark roasts. I’m now on a mission to try other South American peaberry coffees for more refined comparisons. Side note: I appreciate the closure device on the package which I feel is much more appropriate for maintaining freshness of the beans.

Don’t waste your money.
Yeah, it’s good - just like alllll the other good whole bean coffee brands, but for $20 a bag, Not Ever Again! It ain’t that good. Sheesh.Sigh ...

Extremely good flavor!
Flavor: extremely good as in OMG good. Full flavor with a little bright and very smooth velvety finish.Freshness: roasted on 7-5 an delivered on 7-18. Can you get any better than that?Value: Priced up but the quality supported it. You want a treat and something special, give this a try.

Good coffee. Worthy of a try if you like something other than generic arabica beans.

Great medium roast!
I just received a batch of Guatemalan Peaberry Coffee. Prior to the holidays, I ordered a sample package of 4 different beans from Volcanica. Two of the beans were peaberry and I really enjoyed them. I didn't get this as a sample, so I decided to try it out and brew it in in my French press. I used 500ml of water with 30g of beans. I do add some whole milk to my coffee. I love it! Great medium roast. As far as roast dates, which people always ask.... This bean was roasted about 2 months ago. I did get another peaberry bean that was roasted 1 month ago. My assumption is the more popular roasts have shorter roast dates. You can order fresher beans from Volcanica directly, but prices are a bit better when ordering directly from Amazon.

Burnt, bitter not good.
I’m a big fan of the smooth chocolatey undertones genuine Guatemalan peaberry coffee. This is not it. It smells burnt and tastes bitter and burned. The coffee is dry, I prefer some oils. The grind on the beans make it looked like saw dust not coffee. With the cost at $20 for 14oz, it’s a big pass for me.

Great taste but expensive
The coffee arrived quickly. Great coffee but a bit pricey which is expected when ordering a peaberry. I’ve tried many Guatemalan coffees and this is one of my favorites. Illl order as a special treat or send as a gift. Better values available for my everyday coffee but a nice splurge sometimes.
