It helps if you have a second pair of hands, but was very easy to install once you get the quick release brackets on and I used a white out once positioned to drill my holes. May have to modify brackets as they may come in contact with tank. I put 4x 4 1/2 inch speakers and a 7 x 2 waterproof radio in it. I got an old Chevy radio mounting kit from O’Reillys to fill the gap and works perfect. I got a smoke radio marine cover and flipped it upside down, so it opens from the top and flips down for easy access while riding. My son broke the windshield so I wound up ordering a $20 5-inch smoke windshield and it looks great. Great farring.
I read all the reviews and seen it was a frequently returned item, but knew that all motorcycles are different and I know my bike well so I ordered it. I opened the box, layed everything out and lined it up, measured it up, drilled holes, and had it mounted in less than 40 minutes. Makes a huge difference in my ride, I love it and won't go back to a plain windshield. Excellent product for the price. Looks good. Fits perfectly on my Harley.

Not having any templates or instructions.
It looks great absolutely perfect for what I want, except the mounting of the fairing is strictly up to you to measure and fit the fairing and get a proper fit. There are ZERO instructions with it and ZERO TEMPLETS for you to mark and drill into something you just spent 240 bucks on. If you don't take your time and get someone to help you mock it up where you can mark the appropriate places to drill to insert the hardware you risk damaging the fairing and weaking it where it will not be strong enough to take highway winds. I strongly suggest adding a internal bracket to help disperse the load of the wind on the 4 mounting bolts. This could be so much better of a product with just a little bit of effort from the seller/manufacturer to include a template of where to drill for the mounting hardware. I am honestly a lot disappointed by this cause in one of the photos it shows the hardware installed on it and even mounted on a motorcycle with no mentions of you will have to figure out where to drill to make the fairing fit your bike.

Ok for the price but…
No instructions, no template for drilling holes for the mount. Just have to guess. Chrome on the mounting hardware is very cheap and I can guess that it will be rusting in a few months if not sooner. I’ll just have to sand and rattle can them. No information on the speaker size that will fit. After some other research, I’ve determined that it uses 5.25 speakers. I do like the double din radio pocket. I will be able to use a larger radio screen for navigation.Update...Decreased from 3 stars to 1 star. The more I try to mount this thing the worse it gets. I finally get a good alignment, drill the bolt hole and set it up on the bike with the brackets loose because it wouldn't set down on the grommets. After getting it set on the grommets properly, there is about a half inch gap on each side. so, now I have to make some mounting spacers for it.Update 14 Aug. after finally getting it mounted and slotting holes so I could adjust the angle of the windshield, with the windshield straight up, the radio mount is angled down. If I were to adjust the windshield back, the radio would have been into the handlebar mount. I would send it back if I hadn’t already drilled holes. Big piece of crap.

The fairing itself is beautiful and seems sturdy.
Install was VERY frustrating. Will update later once I've taken it for a couple rides.
