I have a bunch of All-Clad copper core stuff. I needed a big stock pot but didn't want to spend $400 plus on one. I took a chance on this one and am pleased with the quality, and the very sturdy packaging. It is a beautiful pot. It heats very evenly and the appearance and craftmanship is very high. I don't use this size much but got sick of using an old aluminum one that is not nearly as effective.

This product is the highest quality you can buy. Thanks to the copper layer sandwiched between steel and aluminum, the lateral heat distribution is excellent. The bottom is heavy and flat, it does not wobble on your ceramic cooktop, providing perfect heat conduction. Water boils in half the time compared to other lesser quality pots. One thing to be careful: if you want to put salt in the water, do it when the water is already boiling. Otherwise, salt will stain the bottom.

What I dislike it’s a little on Heavy side but is a good pot use it for everything

This is a fantastic soup pot for the money. I really wanted an All-Clad soup pot smaller than my 8 quart in copper core. All-Clad discontinued their copper core 6 quart size and only had the regular which was too pricey for me and not my preference. I tried to find a pre-owned one and they were outrageously priced. So, based on the other reviews, I took a chance on this unknown brand pot. Well, I’m very impressed with the fit and finish, especially for the price! WOW! It weighs the same as my 8 quart copper core from All-Clad. Watch out All-Clad, I think you finally have competition.

Best pot I've ever had

Excellent product but expensive on Amazon. I bought my first one from amazon and then got two more from their website where it was cheaper and on sale. Do buy a bar keeper with it. Keeps them nice and shiny. With this cookware it's essential you heat the pot/pan with oil prior to adding any ingredients that way it becomes nonstick. Quite heavy so don't buy if you don't like heavy pots. I love heavy pots and everything cooks evenly. Exceptional heat conductivity.

Great pot! it has a good heavy weight to it because of the 5 ply. this brings water to a boil quickly, and cooks things evenly. fanciest pot I have every had. very happy with the purchase.

For starters, I have never received such a well packaged piece of cookware. A pan protector was included, also. You can easily see the 5 layers of stainless, aluminum, and copper at the drip edge. This is a heavy pot and is built like a tank! At $114 this is a steal. Buy it.
