It's very good. I have had a wide variety of freeze dried chicken in similar can and size, from mostly name brands. I had not heard of this brand, but after some looking around what I learned made me feel comfortable trying it.I must say, the dices are nice and neat. Surprising to see pretty much no dust or shards. I really thought it was just normal to have a bunch of dust (that greatly benefits my dogs, haha), but this is really clean looking.I like to have freeze dried chicken on hand not just for emergency but for supreme convenience. I often make a quick single serving soup or hot smoothie as I jokingly refer to it. Just something warming and filling. Usually take some sort of broth, add some sort of puree (pumpkin, squash or yam are three I keep on hand), whatever seasonings I am in the mood for, some vegetables (either left overs, a handful of frozen, or dehydrated/freeze dried). I usually dont add meat, but sometimes I want a little added something. If I have something already in my fridge ready to go then I use that, if I dont, then I add a small handful of freeze dried chicken. It is already cooked, and once hot liquid touches it, it just makes it pretty much like regular chicken.Really good fresh flavor. It.. tastes like chicken, haha. It is just better than anticipated.I also keep this on hand for my dogs. I always top their kibble with chicken. I usually always have chicken cooked up for them, but sometimes I am running low and dont feel like cooking up a batch, or I am simply out. This is when I reach for some freeze dried chicken. I can sprinkle over their kibble as is, but usually I rehydrate a little to bring out that taste and aroma. I have tried it totally dry, and it is ok. Really most tasty when rehydrated.Going to buy another soon, and check out their other offerings.

I purchased it because it was the more affordable price at this time. The chicken cooks and tastes great, reminds me of chicken noodles soup chicken size/taste. The actual food is awesome!I am disappointed in the packaging as it's a waste of space it's barely a half a can and appears to have more chicken powder in the mix then chicken chunks. Probably due to so much space in the can and during handling the freeze dried chunks start to break off. The chicken pieces aren't very big after you follow cooking directions, which means you need more inorder to make certain meals.Overall it's good.

Excellent product and taste

I like the idea of having emergency food on hand but this product, unlike most emergency food, is sodium free! I shudder to think what happens to people who eat all that sodium in other products.

Have not tasted yet, however it was a great value for the money

Nice to have when the grocery shelves are empty.
