Brilliant Product! Highly recommend! Saved me £££££ in garage and mechanical fees! Simple to use... Works brilliant with the Forscan Program! So would recommend purchasing that online as it's only a few £! Had 3 different mechanics try and fix my van and I ended up doing it myself with this tool and that app! Done a Forced Regen on my DPF and cleared all my dash warning lights too! Also reset my ABS module after fitting new pads and discs! Overall... FANTASTIC PIECE OF KIT - IF YOU OWN A FORD... YOU SHOULD OWN ONE OF THESE TOO!!!

Fully recommend this product. I think some of the low ratings are down to the lack of instructions, but I didn’t need them as I had my own purpose for the cable. I basically bought it so I could reprogram my ECU to accept a newly wired trailer module on a Ford Galaxy MK3. I managed to sort this in around 40 mins and added new unlocked features to the car such as doors auto locking when driving and one click unlock all doors, One click deadlock and auto window heater when below 0 etc. The list goes on....Simply plug it into your computer and let it auto install the driver. I didn’t use the ELM software as it wouldn’t connect to the car.Head to forscan.org and download the software. If you want to just view info it’s free, if you want to reprogram the car it’s £8 for 1 year license.Install and go to the settings page. You will see a license activation box. Complete purchase and add the code to that box and restart the program.Now you have a fully functional software and ready to connect to the car. I’d strongly recommend that you a) read the forscan forum on how to program the car b) do a back up of the stock settings. If you mess anything up, you want to be able to restore it c) make sure these plenty of power in your laptop and it does not go to sleep as it will effect the ecu if it shuts down mid way.Requires reading but simple if you follow forscan step by step instructions.

Waste of money, downloaded drivers and all software, won’t connect to car. Troubleshooting for over an hour and a still nothing ! Disc does nothing and just for show !! Please just invest in a proper scanner !!

Easy to use no issues connecting, I used with Forscan and it connected straight away as long as the wee switch is in hi speed ! Was able to Code in a new injector on my wifes ford cmax very easily ! great but save me a ton of money at a garage ! Only as good as the software you are using though ! I used lead as a usb cable device on a windows 10 laptop ! it loaded the drivers itself , comes with a cd rom how to so you can connect it to whatever OS you are using ! Good buy and delivered next day through prime

The media could not be loaded. Ok, so the programmer works, I had an injector go faulty in the car (1.6 eco Mondeo ) and purchased this obd after reading for a bit a few people said this can be used for programming injector codes with forscan, so after purchased I struggled for 2 days trying to get it to work hence the low rating (comes with no instructions) but if you have the patience it did work in the end and car is running fine again now. You have to go to forscan online and download there software ( and register ) as it doesn't come with the provided software disc.

Bought this so I could add some rear speakers to my ford transit custom. I was quoted £150 for a Ford garage to take a look with no garuntee they could do it.The drivers on the disc are way out of date, it took a while to get the latest drivers and add them to my pc to get it to work. Once I had done this it worked a treat😊😊👍👍
