Great keyboard but died on me really quickly
I love the feel of the keys and it was very quiet. Unfortunately I would have to plug it in almost every day to charge after month 3 of owning it. I would turn it off hoping that would help but I still had to keep it plugged in every other day. Really defeated the purpose of it being a “wireless” keyboard. Quite disappointing.

For a different look
Finding this device felt like fate as this is exactly what I wanted for my gaming setup. I am an adult gamer that does not mind some RGB gamer look, but I prefer something more reserved. This is the more reserved look. I don't mean boring either. Boring is what came with my desktop. This combo is nice looking and not over done.First the keyboard is weighty and seems to be made of good material. The feel is nice. Another thing I like is that the keys are low profile. I prefer lower profile for typing as I hit the keys better and make less mistakes. The keys are backlit with cool colors and look nice. My criticism are related to how the backlighting is used. The light tends to be one big light pad underneath and can make night typing more difficult. I also do not like the logo on the space bar area. The mouse is basic looking but feels decent. it is light feeling, so this requires some getting to use to. The mouse moves well enough but since it does not have much weight the precision is different. I do like how the one usb dongle works for the keyboard and mouse. The mouse build quality is not as high as the keyboard, but still is a nice combo. I really like the look on my minimalistic gaming setup.

A nice compact rechargeable backlit keyboard that matches what is described.
My first impression was how nice the key markings appear - very large, white, and easy to see. I’m not a memory touch typist so I need to see the keys. I got this keyboard because I wanted one with backlite, but I find the keys so easy to see that I don’t really need to switch it on unless the surroundings are poorly lit. The keyboard is rechargeable but does not come with a separate charger. It does come with a short, 2 ft long, USB-A to USB-C connector cord (the connection on the keyboard is USB-C). A regular phone charger with USB-A connection gets you going fairly quickly. The mouse is AAA battery powered (alkaline batteries included). The letter and number pad layout are standard, yet the board is quite compact. In order to provide enough room for all the keys the navigation keys are placed in a small area below the right Shift key. Also, the Home, PgUp, End, PgDn, Ins, and Del keys are integrated into the number pad, and the navigation keys also include Home, PgUp, End, and PgDn integration pretty much like what is seen on the larger size laptops. Personally, I’ve had no problem with this key layout. The touch-feel seems comfortable and effortless and “click” noise level is low. I frequently use the number pad in Excel, and it works fine for that. The platform is rigid, and the build quality is as good as I’ve ever seen. The backlite color is easily changed and it offers seven different ones, although “white” seems more like light blue to me. The backlite will "sleep” when not in use after about 35 seconds but will reactivate once you start typing.I’ve had it in operation for 15 days now without a recharge. I’ve intentionally used it well beyond my normal daily usage and have always kept the power on. The backlite has been set to be available for about 6 days. The instructions recommend turning power off when not in use, but I wanted to put as much demand as I could to see the impact on battery life. The user manual says it has a 3 W-hr battery capacity, so I’m not expecting it to go much longer. And about the built-in rechargeable battery, I would have preferred an AA or AAA replaceable battery power supply that way you could elect to use those as rechargeables, which is what I’m doing with my other devices. The mouse fits my hands (long, thin fingers) comfortably. The wheel has nice soft indents for smooth operation. The push-down effort on the wheel is a bit heavier than I would like, but it’s easy enough to get used to. I use AutoCad and Draftsight in my engineering work so good mouse control is mandatory for me – this works nicely. The keyboard is no longer responding. The battery is no longer holding a charge. It only lasted 6 months. Too bad because I really liked it while it was working.

Great keyboard, not so great mouse
I recently got an Acer all-in-one computer that came with a truly awful keyboard/mouse combination and thought I would upgrade it. Believe it or not, I was primarily looking for a keyboard with an on/off switch – I’m using Multiplicity software to control this computer from another PC and wanted to be able to turn it off and put it in a drawer when not in use. That feature wasn’t available on the Acer keyboard so score one for the SurnQiee keyboard.Otherwise, the keyboard is well laid out, nicely weighted to keep it from moving around your desk, and it feels and works like a premium product. USB C charging is a nice feature, the backlighting is a little dim but to be expected on a rechargable battery powered product (think accent lighting rather than backlighting), and the island style keys make it easy to clean. Keyboard and mouse use a single dedicated 2.4GHz dongle for wireless connection that linked up perfectly right out of the box. This product is NOT Bluetooth.Charging time is quick, although I have not really tested the amount of time the keyboard will last between charges. Typing is comfortable as well, and the laptop style keyboard has a handy support bar at the top that tilts it at a good angle.Unfortunately the mouse is nowhere near as good. It is very light and “plasticky”, hard to adjust for a comfortable control, and the on/off legend on the switch is hard to read. I’m not using it often, but a serious user would likely want to use the keyboard and ditch the mouse. I took a star off for the mouse, but the keyboard is highly recommended; more so if you have another mouse lying around.

needs line of sight
So apparently, the mouse needs line of sight to work correctly. If the mouse is on the opposite side of my laptop to the receiver, it gets glitchy. I don't like the scroll wheel either. It's short and just feels weird. I do like the keyboard. It doesn't have the same connection problem. It is also comfortable and looks good with the backlight. This is a kit though, and the mouse really drags down the keyboard.
