This item, despite selling on amazon.co.uk, is not compatible with UK faucets ! It doesn't fit UK faucets, and is also not actually helpful as it does nothing for limescale.I've spent hours trying to get it to install on our kitchen faucet and finally got in touch with Brita UK, who provided me the following very helpful information:>>>Thank you for your enquiry regarding the BRITA On-Tap system.Unfortunately, we don’t have any information or spares for this product as it is manufactured by Brita in North America, (produced under licence by Clorox a US conglomerate who bought and own the trademark rights of "BRITA" in the Americas) and isn’t distributed or manufactured by us in the UK.If you have any queries regarding the system please do advise them that you are in the U.K.The reason that there is not a screw on water filter system that fits onto the tap within the UK is because there are 148 different types of taps so the system would need to be designed differently to fit all of these.In the USA and Canada there are only five different tap designs.In addition to this, the American screw on filter system that you refer to just uses a carbon block filter, this means that it would not have any effect on reducing the temporary hardness (Limescale) within the water supply, temporary hardness is of course the biggest problem within the UK water supply.However, BRITA do manufacture a filter tap system, which is attached to the household water supply, providing instant BRITA filtered water on tap.Please take a look at BRITA water filter tap solutions | BRITA® for kitchen taps which provide filtered water.We also produce a carbon only filter that can be fitted to your existing tap for customers who are not concerned about lime-scale and only wish to improve the taste of their water.<<<<

The media could not be loaded. The item started bypassing after 1 week of use and was properly installed as instructed from the manufacturer

Seemed promising but then the light went completely off and stopped working , even when i tried to use brand new cat-ridges....Disappointing

Don‘t buy. No replacement filters are available on Amazon UK, so you won‘t be able to replace the filter!!!

Why it’s on the market without filter replacement availability…

Leakage after a week, poor plastic quality easily breaks.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!

The pressure of the water got so reduced that takes a lot of time to fill anything, and it only took 3 months to the light to become red. And to be honest, the taste of the water has not improved at all
