Orac Decor CX109 | High Impact Polystyrene Crown Moulding | Primed White | 2-3/8in Face x 78in Long (8 Pack)

I’m a woman doing my own projects and it’s hard to handle 8-10’ wood trim by myself. Because of that, I decided to try out this product and I’m very happy with the results. It was a breeze for me to put this up on my own. I was even able to do it while my daughter was asleep, because I didn’t need a nail gun and was able to use a miter box and hand saw to cut it. Ideally I’d have used my saw, but it was nice to have the option not to. It cuts like wood, but is much less weight to it and can be hung with liquid nails. I used the heavy duty contractor version and it grabbed it immediately to the wall and held. I’ll definitely buy this again.

Easy to cut using a miter box. Small enough to caulk any slight cutting errors on the 45 degree corner cuts. Light enough to stay using adhesive like loctite power grab. No brads or nails needed. Covered some ceiling to wall cracks and looks solid.

This was an okay product for a small bathroom project and it’s not too big of a projections that sticks out. It’s perfect for a small space and made my bathroom looks so elegante. Use a glue and spray combo that u use for joining wood and it works so well on this product and comes out clean and sturdy strong adhesion

This profile and size was just something I could not match with other options. It is easy to work with. The price is a bit high, I think, but not unreasonably so.

I am not sure what I thought I had purchased, but this isn't it. The recommended adhesive did not work well. The polystyrene looks very cheap. The molding is very thin and small, and it fits very close to the ceiling and wall. I don't think its possible to trim out corners with this material. I stopped half way through to remove and call a painter to repaint the walls and ceilings and hang wood crown moulding.I was looking for a short cut; there are no shortcuts.

good quality, very easy to install. This is my first time doing molding but it does look very professional. The only one big challenge - corners. wasted several panels trying to figure this out. Still can't! lol

Nice quality heavy duty molding

Very easy to paint and cut. Very lightweight. Can be broken easily if bent or struck. Because it is dense polystyrene it frays a little when cut with a saw. Needs sanding on edges after but paint covers and fills it well
