This is an ultra comfy and well manufactured all in one balaclava. It fits beautifully and it definitely keeps the chill out when biking to work on the still cool early mornings. It will really come into its own in winter time when the temperatures drop considerably and because of the fantastic stitching I feel this will last for a few years at least. It can be worn as a standard balaclava with the added face protection, a semi hoodie or rolled down to create an oversized turtle neck scarf. If cycling it also fits snugly under a cycle helmet.16/10/23 Review Update:I still have this. The stitching is still intact, the elastic cords still draw close and there's no fraying of the material. It's nice when something lasts as long as this, great value for money.

Very comfortable material. Thick and warm. I did worry that the toggles would get in the way whilst wearing a helmet on top of this, but they dont at all.Fits nicely under a jacket or a jumper and once you've got it on it doesnt need adjusting or re-tucking in every 2minutes.What an absolute steal at 8quid. I wore this to for winter in Scotland, I would have to stand in the elements for 6hours. This stayed on the whole time - comfortable, warm and a bargain.If you're looking for a all round balaclava to keep you warm in inclement weather this is for you. Or if you're looking to rob your local bank this would also do the trick.6/5stars

After buying this item, I used it for the first time cycling in the winter and it was very warm and had me sweating after 10 minutes. I wouldn't worry about your face and ears from freezing anytime soon. Its easy to put on your head, and its very comfortable although.....I have added 4 stars from a couple of problems I've had. The mask comes with an adjustable clip to either tighten, or loosen the hood around your head. Be careful not to pull push the clip and pull it all the way down, as mine came off and it was a pain to put back on. This however could have been a one off, and hasn't happened again since taking precaution with it.Lastly, the only main problem with wearing this, is simply the fact it is big. I have an average sized head, and the main problem I experience while cycling is that i simply cannot see to my right and left when passing roads of oncoming traffic. I usually have to stop every time just to check, meanwhile unadjusting the hood and pulling it off my head everytime.Overall, definitely worth the buy. I'd say this is a 4 star while biking, or doing activities with it. But an overall 5 star if you was to use this walking (especially in the current winter) and just other general cold adventures such as camping or overnight fishing.

Worn on a cold bitter night and this kept my head and face nice and warm. Recommended.

The product is great! Unfortunately it has arrived damaged the bungee cord that is used to tightened it up is damaged and doesn’t tighten up the hood or face mask.It’s great, it’s warm, I just can’t get the best out of it because it arrived broken!

This is a lovely balaclava hat. It is made of premium quality thick fleece, so great for cold winter weather and it fits me perfectly on my head and neck as it is one size. I love the fact that it also covers my nose and mouth, so if I need to go to places where I need a mask, I can wear this instead.I also like the fact that it doubles up as a scarf and I can tighter it with the drawstring, so it fits snuggly. It is also easy to wash, as it is machine washable.
