These are GREAT! This is the product I was looking for
I got the Loop ones and everything, and these are WAY BETTER because they do not have to stick down in your actual ear canal and poke you. They are amazing, they mold to fit over the opening, but unlike most, they don't go down into the canal. Full blockage without discomfort. Sleep flat on my side on them. Wish I'd gotten these first instead of the Loops, or the noise cancelling ones!

Great for side sleepers
The foam earplugs were causing me to loose sleep because they would fall out or I would pull them out from causing pain. So I either would loose sleep from loud cars or from pain of the foam earplugs until I found these. They stay in all night and are so comfortable. No pain and they are great at blocking the noise out. I am sleeping all night and getting rest now. I am a side sleeper and it is so comfortable compared to the foam ones that would press in even more causing discomfort when side sleeping. I am so glad I found these.

My new favorite earplug for sleeping with a snorer
I was using Ohropax wax earplugs for years. I always felt like those would get too ‘dirty’ after just a couple of uses and lately they were also leaving a greasy film behind and even sometimes made my ears itchy. I decided to try these Alpine and so glad I did! The silicone seems to stay much cleaner for longer, allowing me to reuse them for many nights. My ears don’t itch at all and they leave behind no residue. I also have small ear holes so I’m able to just split one disc in half. It takes a little skill at first to get them in just right….but once you push and mold to create the proper ‘seal’ around your ear hole, they stay put and lessen the sound of my husband’s extremely loud snoring. They don’t completely block the snoring, but I have yet to find an earplug that does. These dampen the loud snoring enough that I usually can sleep through the night without issue. They are sticky when warmed in your hand, so you do have to make sure to pull your hair out of the way before inserting them…other than that though I don’t find my hair to stick to them while sleeping or anything like that. If you sleep next to a snorer, give them a try!

Great ear plugs
Nothing to dislike. Perfect to black snoring and morningrooster alarm.

Won't stay in
I sleep with ear plugs because I live on a main road near a fire station. I've recently started having problems with even getting the child sized foam plugs into my right ear so I thought these look promising. Because each "buttons" is too large for my ear, I had to break them up to make them smaller but that wasn't a problem. The problem is that they won't stay in. And when they are in, they don't block out sound completely but that wasn't a deal breaker. The best way I found to insert them is to warm them up with your fingers to make them more pliable and then put them up to your ear and push them inward. That keeps them in for a while but if you're a side sleeper, you'll most often find the one on the side on which you sleep to have loosened or fallen out completely. After about a month or so. I got fed up and went back to struggling with the foam plugs.

Good solution for noise at night
I find they work well and are more comfortable than foam earplugs. They mold to the shape of your ear. They do slide some but the noise reduction is still effective.

Pressure
Since the material is silicone, when you “seal” your ears with it, it creates air pressure in your ears. I found that out last night. And when I switched to sleep on my side, the pressure in my ears would wake me up and I ended up having a restless night. They are not comfortable at all.

These absolutely outperform expanding foam earplugs!
I end up with ear pain from expanding ear plugs if I wear them very long. Yes they are quick and easy if you need to shoot a gun, beat on something with a hammer, run an impact, etc. but if you use them for extended periods of time either in combination with a headset flying an airplane all day or just for sleeping, you end up hurting after just one day. A week or two later of constant use and I end up with boils in my ears even when washing and using near foam ear plugs every day. These silicone plugs block the sound better for me when sleeping and I have zero pain the next morning. Using them night after night is totally a viable option. You put pressure on when you are molding them into your ear, then when you stop they just sit there ever so comfortably plugging things up. This makes a huge difference for overnight or all day wear.
