UCOMini Flatpack BBQ & Grill

holy moly how can i describe how much i love this thing......it is such a little beast, small unassuming but mighty! when using coals it is brilliant for a long hot bbq cooking you can also use wood for a quick easy bbq. the amount of comments i have receive about it is amazing in a group bbq (precovid) peoples reaction was hilarious they would literally wow and oooohh when it came out of its little case. they often think its a ipad case or something. my flatmate thinks i should become a salesperson for the company because i love it so much hahaha.i originally bought it for bbqs on the beach but because i don't own a car i wanted something that i could carry in my backpack and cycle with it or for hikes, its perfect i can carry it with a bag of fuel and some food easily. its made me want to go on a expedition!!

I took this on holiday to Antigua and used it with some driftwood to make a nice bbq on the beach. It worked a treat it is really well made and the case is really good. Defo 100 per cent reccomend this.

Great little product. Bought it to use to cook up some lunch after paddle boarding. Not huge, but big enough to cook a couple of burgers and hotdogs at the same time. Lightweight, packs down to the size of book, nice carry case, very easy to assemble, heats up quickly, enough fuel capacity to cook what I describe above without burning out, doesn't use much fuel (so less go carry!), cools down quickly, easy to clean (can go in dishwasher) and most importantly is lifted off the ground so doesn't burn the ground or table. Yes a few ashes may fall out and yes it looses it's shine pretty quickly but cooking outdoors is never perfect and these are very small faults. Looking forward to using it many more times.

Use this in camping trips fits in my pack easily and adds minimal weight for its ability to allow my the ability to cook and have a fire while camping but without the fire scars on the ground so no trace left anywhere worth it for that reason alone let alone the grill for cooking and once done it's easy to remove and you have an instant fire pit

Small but a really cool 2 person BBQ

It's a great unique design that is robust and well constructed out of a metal that doesn't appear to rust. Not only that you can put it in the dishwasher when you get back.It should last a long time and easily pay for itself over purchasing of a number of "disposable bbq's" which never work anyway.Highly recommended.

This was so easy to use and my husband loved it! We had a lovely outdoor brunch in a wood! It’s such a great size about the size of a small laptop and very light. The case is really handy. We’ve had such a nice time with our daughter using this.

Wanted this to carry in my campervan - it's ideal - Packs up really small - the cover is sturdy and contains any residual ash. Assembly is scarcely and inconvenience and once up it is sturdy and kicks out quite a bit of heat (Obvs depends what you put on it and if you light it)Neat piece of kit...

I purchased this grill primarily to use while out relaxing on hikes with a small fire in the cold months. I like to cook up a little lunch and have a cup of coffee.The mini grill is a good option for this as it allows you to make your fire wherever you want without leaving a fire ring or scorching the ground. The design is very smart and efficient. It is a lot sturdier than it would appear to be with the wire legs but they interlock and it is very stable when cooking or adjusting the fire. The stove and hinges have so far held up to many fires without much issue, a little warping but nothing substantial enough to worry about. It also comes with a nice canvas carry bag that keeps the stove from sooting up other gear in a pack or vehicle etc. The only real down side is that it can be a bit tedious to get to burn clean, there is very little airflow at the bottom of the burn box. It is a grill and not a stick stove, so there are no vents on the bottom of the grill to draft. With charcoal it is not an issue but burning damp wet wood on a rainy or cold day can be a smoky affair. A few simple tricks such as stacking a stick cross wise at the bottom to allow airflow or otherwise propping your fuel load will allow the fire to breath better. I carry a small (1") rolled section of expanded sheet metal that I place in the bottom this allows air to be drawn from the sides under the fuel.Happy trails!

Easy to take it with you, stable, good quality.

So fun. Kids absolutely love when we use this. Can make a nice little fire for roasting marshmallows or use the grill and roast up some Hot Dogs, Burgers or whatever you like.I got the mini one. Can fit 8 hot dogs on it at once. Or 4 buns at once. Or 4 medium sized burgers. I caught a little trout and cooked it on the grill. Was excellent. It is a bit tricky to cook properly on it but the trick is to get a nice red hot bed of coals . I have tried charcoal as well and that worked. Does not take much wood or charcoal to get this lil pit going. Very efficient.It folds up nice and snug and fits perfect in my backpack pocket designated for laptops and tablets. It is not very heavy . Easy to clean and pack away.It was a great buy and I look forward to many adventures with this lil firepit. Something kinda special about knowing you have a firepit folded up and in your bag. It is pretty amazing. Eventually I plan on getting the bigger one for fishing trips. This little one is great for hiking though. So much fun. The whole family loves it. Amazing for power failures , emergencies and just cooking on the porch when you don't quite feel like makign a big BBQ.I would recommend it to any fisherman and fisherwoman. Campers, Hikers. Weekend warriors and people who just like to be prepared. It is Very cool and really well made ! Thanks guys!
