Excellent quality
This is my 2nd Craycort for a Jumbo Joe. This one comes pre-seasoned so it should survive any rust events. On the 18 inch Joe, it fits perfectly and has 3 removable sections - which works perfectly for indirect smoking. I'm able to leave out one section and add more coals or wood chunks as needed.

LOVE this thing
This is our second Jumbo Joe. The first one we got rid of because it did not cook a steak very well. The grate that comes with it is not very good as the metal is pretty thin so you can't get a good sear on the meat. This replacement grate sears a steak in no time.I also like that you can take one of the 3 sections out and do offset cooking with it. It works much better than the flip up side like they have on the 22" full size weber. With a section out you can easily get in and stir the coals or add wood chips or whatever.We full time in our RV so the Jumbo joe fits in some of our understorage. We used to carry a 22" weber in the garage but found it hard to justify that much space.The downside is that this grate costs as much as the Jumbo joe. But it is worth it and makes the Jumbo joe a very usable grill.

Best grates for grills
Fits the weber 18inch perfectly. Offers more cooking space than the original grates too. Very convenient to be able to lift a grate peice to dump in charcoal. Amazing sear marks, this is by far the best grate I could find and it does everything you would need it to. One thing to be careful for rusting if you have sprinklers like I do. Easy fix though, just heat and scrub, maybe add a little oil to a brush.

Versatile
Works awesome as a secondary grate for my bronco. I have the option to have hanging ribs too by just removing one of the panels

It was great while it lasted
It was great while it lasted. I snapped at least 2 of the grates on each section from basic removal, so I just trashed it.

good quality but too big
I was excited to use this item on my 18.5" Weber grill as it had arrived intact and looked nice. Good casting, not broken or cracked but it was nowhere close to fitting my 18.5" Weber. This grill measured 18 7/16" at the outside diameter of the support ring. The other posters and description noted the Dia. as 17 3/8" to 17 1/2". I would still like one that fits my grill as I have smoker accessories and such already built for it.

Searing
Works as expected and very satisfied. I like the versatility of the removable grates. Easier to clean. As like all cast iron, proper cleaning and seasoning is part of the maintenance so don't complain if you fail to follow through and get some rust. I would never leave cast iron outside in the weather and expect it to remain rust free. Clean and oil after use and have had no issues storing in shop with no heating or air. Also thin coat of olive oil before using.
