MEDCOAT® Pill Coating (Strawberry, 10 ct.)

This stuff works great! Our little 4 legged daughter has a few pills she takes on a regular basis, however one is extremely bitter with no coating and no matter what we put it in she can tell it’s there. I bought this stuff and found it is easy to use and she doesn’t know the pill is there! So now I don’t have to use the pill popper anymore, which is so good. Any way great stuff!!!

Would not buy again. Doesn’t really work for me, still feels like the probiotic is stuck in my throat. Plus there is so much waste. They need to figure out a way to do it without all the plastic.

I tried these because I have two pills that I have to take nightly that are rather large and have a rough surface. I'm not allowed to break them up because they are slow release. I was able to coat two pills fairly well with one applicator. They taste pretty good, and they do go down easily. I took off one star because they are a little bit pricy, but they definitely do work!

From time to time, I have to take some very icky, powdery pills. The last time I was prescribed the pills, I never succeeded in getting them down. I didn't complete the course of antibiotics. This time, because the infection came back, I decided to try to find something like the pill pockets I give my dogs to seal the pills and help me get them down. I'd tried wrapping them in bread and even bought some candy to wrap them in, but those things only made the bulky pills bulkier and harder to swallow. I saw these online and ordered the 3-pack. I'm sure glad I did. These were easy to use. You just push them through the gel membrane, and it covers the pill with a thin, gel-like coating. It makes them easy to swallow, and so far, I haven't tasted the "ick" at all. In fact, I loved the Cola taste! I'd eat that stuff as candy. It tastes like Coke. These are definitely a win. Incidentally, some people mentioned that the coating split in places. I had that happen once, but I just took some of the gel from the package and put it on the pill like putty to cover the split. Easy peasy. Why aren't these at every pharmacy in America?

I highly recommend these wonderful pill covers for anyone that has issues swollowing pills that are not coated. They actually do help and i believe they have 3 flavors. Its very easy to use and not time consuming!

It gives the pill a gel ish coating almost like a fruit roll up. So I had the idea to just use a fruit roll up to wrap the pill and that works better. The coating dissolved really quickly. I wouldn’t recommend this for the price.

I’m not sure why anyone would give this product anything less than five stars! I have trouble swallowing pills that aren’t coated and these have been a lifesaver. They are so easy to use and the packaging is outstanding. I hesitated to buy these but I am so glad I did. I keep these stocked in my medicine cabinet now. Thank you to whoever invented this because you have made my life so much easier!! I just wish you could get prime shipping because if you run out and need them in a pinch they are hard to find in a pharmacy.
