Catit Mini Flower Foutain for Kittens/Small Cats

Bought on Amazon simply because it was half the price than it was in the shop (and yes it is the "smaller" one and was still cheaper). Kept catching the cat drinking when the tap was on or water in the sink. This seemed like an obvious purchase. It has a filter similar to a fish tank if that helps you to know what needs cleaning in it.

I wanted a small cat water fountain to put on the kitchen worktop, and this one seemed ideal. It worked fine for about the first 8-9 months, but it has become really slow at filtering the water, and it now only drips out of 2 of the grooves on the petals. I also think the carbon filters are really expensive given the cost of the whole item. So in short, its OK, but its not lasted very long - now looking to buy a replacement.

Bought this after we have previously bought the larger 3l version and our new kittens both seemed to enjoy using it. One of our kittens is a bit smaller so sometimes struggled to reach the water initially so we thought getting this second, smaller model would be easier for him to use.They knew what it was bearing a lot of similarities to the larger model they were familiar with. It's great to have hidden away as this one sits under an armchair where they like to sleep and we regularly hear them drinking from it. Also unlike the 3l version if you have the fountain turned off the water pools and is still accessible for the cats to drink.Only minor gripe would be that there's no water level indicator like the 3l version has on the side. So it's a bit tricky to know when it needs topping up. But as previously mentioned the water pools when its not in use so we tend not to have this fountain on 24/7, just when they show an interest in the water.Some people have left complaints about the noise or the durability of the product, can't say I've had this issue, obviously the motor noise is a bit more noticeable than the 3l version on account of the motor being in a smaller reservoir of water but we have this model tucked out the way and it's barely noticeable and I work from the chair its situated under and don't really notice it.

My cat has tried it a few times but seems to prefer the bowl now. I may have to return it as the noise is irritating.

Perfect size for one cat, however my 6 month kitten quickly learnt how to flip the top off, water everywhere. Have had to tape lid on. Could do with a clip on lid to prevent this

The water reservoir is a little too big that I'm wasting much water because the water and filter becomes dirty and needs changing quite often. I have to throw away the excess water. The motor pump is quite noisy. The covering for the motor blade does not help in the water flow. If you put them firmly, it affects the flow (less water comes out) so I have to take the two coverings off completely. With some adjustments, I was able to get it working the way I wanted and my cat's happy and uses it now.

Bought for adult cat and is quite large enough. Once I worked out which side went at the front, it went together easily! Though she wouldn't go near it initially (it does hum), I've now seen her using it. Of the 3 options, she likes it with the complete daisy. The most reasonably priced fountain I could find, it appears to work well.
