Love the poems

I am always watching Celia on reels! So I decided to purchase her book! So Glad I did! Each page was filled with an array of emotions or Absolutely beautiful artwork! Would Reccomend!

I carry it around with me when I travel. I think the poetry is pretty relatable especially for teens and young adults and also olde people. I think the other is pretty relatable. This poet knows what she is writing about. One thing I don’t like about the book is it feels like a continuous poem(because it’s a journal style). I like having closures lol, so ending one poem and titling it would definitely be cool, sometimes poetry can be confusing so a title definitely help bring it together. overall it does makes feel the most romantic person so I keep it with me:) I enjoy reading it a lot, and enjoy the poet reading it out on her Instagram and youtube.

When I tell you this book has changed me for the better, please believe it will do the same to you! I sat down and read it the first time in one sitting. The first time I read it, I was at the gym crying all kinds of tears. This book really makes you feel all the emotions. I've reread it a few times and it's doesn't get old. The book embodies the true romanticism that is Celia Martinez. EVERYONE NEEDS THIS BOOK IN THEIR LIFE! Everyone also needs a Celia in their life. Because it's refreshing to know people have gone through similar situations and have wrote down word for word how you feel or have felt. It's almost scary to think that someone somewhere knows my heart as much as this book does. I take it with me wherever I go now. And show everyone how amazing it is! So if you need a sign to buy this book here it is! Buy it! I promise you won't regret it! I can't force you to but seriously. Its the best decision you will ever make when buying a piece of literature to confront your emotions when it comes to love. And I promise you that you will be feeling some type of way by the very end. I don't know the author personally but I love her writings. Best believe I will be on the lookout for the next paperbacks to come out because I know this is just the beginning for this talented writer.

If you are anything like me, you read poetry to feel something. To feel sad, to feel angry, to resonate with the feeling of heartbreak expressed in a piece. Rarely ever, do I find romantic poetry a genre that I vibe with these days. That is until I happened upon a poet climbing the social media ranks named Celia Martinez.What struck me most was the absolute effortless delivery with which Martinez delivers her poems, almost like she’s just saying what first comes to mind, and in terms of poetry and the complexity of language barriers, that is a rare find.Her poetry reads like diary entries but follows a rhyme scheme with themes ranging from future love, past love, love as a concept, romance, fictional men, heartbreak, and themes of anxiety and depression as well.The absolute best thing about Martinez’s collection is her imagery. You can literally picture two people meeting in the street, the young woman carrying bread. How she blushes when the man speaks to her, wondering if he’s actually addressing her or someone else entirely. It’s like paintings of romantic storylines come to life, and it fills the readers soul with such wonder, curiosity, and even dare I say, fulfillment similar to that of a romance novel you can’t stop reading.I finished Martinez’s collection in two days simply because I had trouble putting it down like an insatiable romance novel, and that to me is poetry done absolutely right in a time of social media and short attention spans.Thank you Celia for reminding us all that love is possible even if it hasn’t been returned to us yet.

I haven't read the whole of it, but everything I've read makes me happy. A little sad but I think ultimately happy. I feel like it makes me excited? I don't know. I know I love it. I wanna take my time with this book and same for the Diary of a Romantica Vol. II. I wanna get to that but I wanna cherish this book before I get to that one. I have Vol. II but I don't wanna read it quite yet. And Celia, if you're reading this, I love your work. Your Instagram/TikTok readings are amazing. They just hit me hard. The emotion that you exude is so much (in the best way possible!) and I love it. Thank you!
