I am so excited about starting my grant-writing business (and getting out of the IT drudgery). This book has great ideas, and is very ENCOURAGING. So many books about starting you business go ON and ON about how hard it will be, how the odds are against you, blah blah blah.This book was recently updated, so the information is that much handier.The only issue I had with this book, and it surprised me, is that there are a fair number of typos. And this in a field where accurate writing is everything!Nonetheless, LOVE this book.

Although I know quite a bit about writing grants, the resources in here are great! A very seasoned grandwriter wouldn't find this is much as a resource, but I'm just starting out writing grants for community non-profits and I have found this book a great resource for organizing myself around starting a little business. I'm not in it for the big bucks, but just thought I'd write a few and get a little cash for a vacation or something.

It's good. It just seems kind of wordy as it keeps getting to the point but doesn't reach it quickly.

Great basic info to get you going. Good resource book and sends you to further good info. It's a keeper.
