very sturdy cable with a VERY secure locking device, only wish it was a bit bigger. Holds our 65 lb Staffie/Pit Bull with no problems.

I don't use this often maybe once a week while I'm in the back yard mowing and I don't want my dog wandering around the lawnmower. For the limited use, this works exactly as described. We have a gentle giant though and he never puts to much strain on it.

I received this lead it broke immediately. They sent me a replacement and it failed with INTERMENT use in about a month. Don't recommend this leash absolutely nothing heavy duty about it.

The cable was very strong and durable. Our 60 lb Husky can get loose easily. The lock of the clasp easily slides down to wear she can shimmy her color loop out and get loose.

The media could not be loaded. We've had problems with dog leashes, both with the cable and also with the hook. Many have a type of slide hook that will rust or get stuck or even freeze. This item has a push hook style that has a sliding lock cylinder. You slide the cylinder down and snap hook the end to your dog collar or eye bolt or stationary connection at the other end. I have not had this long enough, so am not certain if this style of hook will solve our prior issues (freezing, stuck, rust). Looking forward to continuous tryout. The cable itself is solid plastic or vinyl coated black and 3/16 inch wide. *UPDATE* Just ordered two more of these at my cost, as the cable survived a complete winter staying flexible. However, the clasp on the house connection end did break when our 55lb dog jolted away. The clasp may need to be stronger at the connection end(s). But, the clasp did not freeze like our other leashes and it is easier to connect the dog every time. I may set up a different clasp at the house end that is stronger. Still like this product.

Before anyone laughs at this review I’m being serious.I use this lead everyday for my cat so he doesn’t wonder off. He gets a great amount of space to move about with this lead. Unfortunately he likes to get caught under 50 things before I have to untangle him. So far it hasn’t ripped or starting fraying around the plastic on the lead. I just wouldn’t use this lead on my 100 lb dog

This is a great tie down. I have a labrador/corgi mix who is very compact and full of muscle. This tie down really holds well and is long enough to put around a tree/bench/etc as well as clipping onto a tie down screw that goes into the ground. My dog has shredded lighter weight tie downs, this one seems like it will last many years.

I received the product on May 1 and on May 4 my dog was able to break it. It lasted 4 days with my 76 lb German Shepherd. Probably not best if your dog is strong and pulls a lot on the tie out. If you have a smaller dog, it should be fine
