Used to aid stepping into a doorway.
I liked the strength, appearance and ease of fitting in a doorway with a step, which was hard for the elderly to negotiate. I've also fitted others from this supplier for use near the top of a loft ladder, to give support and confidence. It looks a good price and was delivered promptly.

Sturdy Item
I used these as grab handles in the loft to help steady me as I crossed from the loft ladder to the boarded floor .They are robust and do exactly what they are supposed to do.

Solid and safe rail
Now it's up it feels very safe and secure. Only issue was the metal base plate and ceramic cover need separating by levering one out from the other with a screwdriver or similar before starting installation. This isn't made clear in the basic instructions. Once this is done, very simple to assemble and install.
