Good craftmanship at a nice price
This leather ottoman is just the right size for me to use with my sofa, without taking up too much space. I can fit my feet on it comfortably. The zipper is sturdy and it seems to be real leather, although I was hoping it was a shade darker; it is not espresso, more of a medium chocolate. The leather is soft and it is well-made. It arrived within 24 hours and was pretty easy to fill. it will take a lot of "stuffing"- memory foam, larger round seat cushions, blankets old sheets, etc. I cut up an old memory foam topper I was about to replace along with layers of old sheets to make it the right shape and firmness. Would have ended up paying a lot more for it if already stuffed. it is pretty easy to move around, but as someone else's review mentioned, cover the metal zipper pull to prevent scratches on wood floors. I am pleased with this purchase and would buy from this seller again.

Very satisfied customer!
Just coming back from Morocco I was remiss in not bringing back an ottoman. This product exceeds my expectations both in price, quality and softness of leather.

I think it’ll do
I got the tan - it’s VERY tan, and a bit more orange than the product photo shows (was hoping for closer to a cognac brown color like the leather piece pictured on top of it, which is a true warm - not dark - brown that looked closer to the listing photo on my screen), but it still looks fine in my space that has some orange in the rug to pull from, so I probably won’t go through the hassle of trying to swap it. I got the tan instead of the dark brown because the dark brown looked over-dyed and too dark for my color scheme in photos.Construction and stitching seems sturdy - took a fuzzy full sized blanket, another twin wool blanket, and all of the stuffing from an old full sized bed topper to fill - it was a little hard to zip closed, so I decided to not try and stuff it until it was completely full, as I didn’t want it to feel hard or be too heavy. I’m glad to now have storage for those blankets, and hope that the dye used for the leather doesn’t rub off on them inside (as they’re lighter in color.) If it doesn’t, it may make for great off-season clothing storage as well.As others have noted, there’s *definitely* a lingering smell that I’m really hoping will dissipate. It’s not over the top chemically or anything, just a little musky/animalish, combined with that sort of smell that hits you when you walk into a sneaker store, and it’s kind of off-putting in a very small space. Comparing it to the cow hide pieces I have out that I’m using for another project, I don’t think this cover is cow leather - based on the texture, thinness, and scent, it’s more likely that it’s goat or pig.The dye work is pretty even, though there are a few darker oily looking spots here and there on the side panels, and right out of the package the entire top of the one I received has a tonal streakiness to it, almost like oil stains as well. I expect most leather to develop a patina with use anyway, so I’ll tolerate it. Overall it has a fairly matte and soft finish with just a touch of occasional tackiness to it that leaves your hands smelling funky like the leather/whatever it was treated with - if the smell becomes less over the next few days, I might try to condition/buff it out more at some point and see if that helps with the color/texture and smell. In any case, I think that if the smell goes away soon it’ll work how I was imagining it would as a footrest for my lounging area, and it’s a nice extra (albeit lower and squishy) sitting stool in a pinch. I mostly got it as a footrest though, so that I’m not constantly crunching up my knees on the edge of my rocker chair while taking a break or watching TV. Seems pretty okay for the price, construction, and material. We’ll see if the smell dissipates, and how it holds up!Edit: I’ve upgraded my review to 4 stars because even though the streakiness of the overall finish has somehow become more pronounced, at least the initial smell is finally beginning to go away. :)

Nice Pouf
I have a Stressless Couch and the seats recline back a bit. I needed a simple leather pouf to move around where I need a foot rest.I chose the black leather as my couch is black. Nice soft leather but sturdy, great big zipper on bottom.I stuffed mine with a fluffy mattress cover I had in the linen closet and the rest I filled up with old bath towels. If you have extra blankets that would work well too.I am pleased with my purchase. :)

Love it. Great Idea:)
Arrived early:) A bit larger than I thought it would be, which is good! I show it laying on its side. This is very nice soft leather. I haven't filled it all the way yet. My only complaint is that the color is much lighter than photo online. I like it well enough to keep it. I am hoping it will weather a bit and maybe darken up with a leather treatment. Great price too!

Fine, but not great
The material has apparently been “stained” rather inexpensively. It has an unpleasant odor that has not gone away after weeks of being open, and a little accidental splash of water on it left a permanent mark as it diluted the very thin layer of color/stain. I wouldn’t buy it again.
