Vital Essentials® Freeze-Dried Raw Rabbit Entree & Mixer Dog Food Crunchy Mini Nibs, 5.5 oz

My dog's health has improve dramatically with this food. It has no GMOs or Antibiotics. It has all the nutrition of raw meat. Kibble is the worst to feed your dog. Since I have switched to vital essentials my dog has stopped itching, biting her feet and her overall health is much better. It's pricy and has increased in cost like everything else, but worth it.

I use these Vital Essentials nibs for a low calorie treat for my dog. The quality and ingredients are high quality, and the price is very reasonable compared to typical dog "treats". Before walking my pups, I put a handful in my pocket. I really like that they don't stain your clothes or break up into small pieces. My vet office also uses these for "treats", which I think is great.

My Goldendoodle puppy is almost 10 months old and has been eating these (along with other things) since I got him at 2 months. I've just purchased my 4th bag. These are pricy and the price keeps going up. Initially, I was only using them as treats but as he grew older he became more picky about food. I use these in his meals when he does overnight stays at the pet hotel because I know he will be more likely to eat this. I have tried the other products from Vital Essentials and my puppy likes most of them (order: Duck Treat, Beef Liver Treat, Rabbit Entree, Chicken Entree, Beef and Chicken Entree). These have a slightly gamey smell to them and a crunchy texture. I hope the price does not continue to rise or this won't be affordable.

I needed to find a food supplement for my dog with multiple health issues. I make her human food and supplement with a handful of this food. She absolutely loves it and her coat is so shiny and she’s healthier than she’s been in years .

This is an all natural product and our Alaskan Eskimo puppy loves it. It is a bit pricey, but its better for our pup. We gave up milkbones and this company has various treats for cats and dogs.

In short: the dogs like it, but they prefer the soft nibs over these dense nibs.We don't use these as a main meal, nor at every meal, but as part of the dinner menu. My dogs enjoy a post dinner treat toy. Sometimes I add "treats", sometimes it is their regular kibble mixed with treats. But that doesnt go over real well, haha.. So usually it is just an assortment of healthy treats. Amount is taken into consideration so as not to give them too much.Not long ago I had the opportunity to try Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Raw Duck Entree & Mixer Dog Food Soft Nibs (free isnt free) which I used as a kibble topper. Then it occurred to me that this would make for a perfect treat toy filler as they really seemed to like it as a "treat" yet it would provide them all the nutrition. I was curious to try other flavors, so I ordered this beef. I now see that the other ones are a soft nub (like a compressed powder that can easily be pinched into powder if sprinkling over food) and these are a more compact lightly crunchy nib. Not hard, but they are hard in comparison to the other.My dogs prefer the soft nibs, but will also eat this. Perhaps they just prefer the duck flavor.Not sure if this will be a repurchase for us, but I know the other kind will be.Good product worth trying. I don't rate on price. You will have to decide if this suits your budget or not.

I love all their products. Helped me get high protein diet for my large breed puppy that she would eat and not have skin issues. Down side is price would change and often a big increase when buying for a large breed

I bought the dog food to try it as a treat.My dogs hate treats, so I bought the small bag. They tried it and I was amazed how much they enjoyed it. I mixed it with their regular food and now they are hooked.
