My fingernails have ridges and I’ve read that this indicates a mineral shortage. So, I’m testing the theory with this supplement. It has an excellent spectrum of minerals. The pills are large. I don’t have trouble swallowing them, but some folks may need to break them in half. I’ll update this after my nails grow for a while. The missing star is based on this final assessment.

This is a decent mix of mineral supplements. I wanted to add some trace minerals that I wasn't getting in my other supplements and this seemed like a fair price. You get almost 4 months worth of supplements for the price! I'm already taking some of these minerals by themself so if I can replace them with this then it's even better!The one downside for me is the size of the pill. It is rather LARGE and you take 2! I do have a pill splitter. I understand that when you add a lot of supplements together the pills tend to get bigger. Calcium Carbonate is what is found in tums. It neutralizes stomach acid well, but it's not bioavailable. Magnesium Oxide is not bioavailable either. You are wasting your time and money with these minerals. I can't speak to the other minerals in this formula, but based on the two I do know something about, this product is probably a waste of money. Look for Calcium Citrate and Magnesium Glycinate or Citrate. They are bioavailable.
