According to a few experts in the health and nutrition fields, malic acid (also called apple acid) is good for pain relief, especially for those with chronic pain. Since I have fibromyalgia (doctor diagnosed, as well as myself) I thought I'd give it a try. It is mild and you have to use it every day, but it is true. Everyone has their own reaction to it, for some it is a miracle and for others it is a mild help, but it does work to some degree. For me, I could tell in one day, but my pain relief is mild. It can take up to 3 months of daily dosing to have an effect and I haven't been as faithful as I should be, but still it works. I highly recommend this to anyone suffering from chronic pain, see if it can help you - it's worth it to find relief. I take 1/4 teaspoonful per day, and can double that if I feel I should.

It is very lip puckering tart, which I think is a good thing which tells me there is a lot of malic acid in the product. When I check labels I am looking for things that are not genetically modified. This product seemed to fit the bill when I ordered because the description said that it was non gmo but I never saw it on the pictures of the label. I have ordered products like this in the past that I could not find it on the pictures of the label but when I received the product it was on the label. However, when I received my order the first thing that I noticed was that the label was different than what I saw when I ordered. The second was no proof that this was indeed gmo free on the label. The seller says that it is but did not have room on the label. I informed him that companies that have a gmo free product are proud to put that on the label and make room for it. It makes me doubt if it is indeed gmo free.

This product was recommended to me to take as a supplement. I am doing that and mixing it in juice but it is very sour and I'm adding 1/4+ tsp of Stevia to make it palatable. Likely all Malic Acid is this way but just a 'heads up'.

Um... don't use too much, you'll pay. hahahahaha No but really, this stuff is great! I had previously been opening capsules of malic acid and taking the contents diluted in liquid (usually apple juice) but that tastes nothing like this stuff and now I wonder what was really in those capsules! So the first time I used this, I used too much because I was thinking it would be like the stuff in the capsules. It was so bitter I could barely get through it but I did. The next use, I didn't use nearly as much and it's very nice and I feel a lot better already. :)

I like this product. I used it to do a liver flush. Does it taste bad, yes and no but if your doing a cleanse or a flush, malic acid is better than buying a ton of apple juice to drink. Just make sure you drink it through a straw. That's with any Malic Acid you buy.
