A little gem for the cost
I am so pleased with this little gem I can't tell you. Just perfect for sitting out in the garden doing my research and writing up my next chapter (I'm an author) and it works great with or without keyboard - even switching between the two in the middle of something. The battery life is phenomenal - on one particular day I was out there for 6.5 hours and it was only down to 50%. The screen is not large but its perfectly clear. Its also very lightweight. Marvellous bit of kit for the cost.

The power conection is of poor quality causing a lack of charging if disturbed
The power conection is of poor quality causing a lack of charging if disturbed. Browsing can be slow if there is too much going on. The memory is small by todays standards and requires back up. Having said that with added memory card and stick back up, it can work. If your not in a frenzy for the web, then it does a grumpy old man for a good price. As for kids..... may not be fast enough, but ask them, they know it all.

Nice device, great battery life but speakers are the worst, can barely hear the thing.
Update! 2 March 18 - If you use an SD card it will more than double the boot up time with no response from Lenovo on this issue - 20 seconds as normal, nearly 50 seconds with an SDCard inserted. Wish we could do half stars as I feel it should be 3.5 stars but for my needs it's closer to 4 I guess.A hard review to write, superlative battery life, screen good enough (for my poor old eyes), nice and light, runs non demanding games (Sunless Sea and Bejeweled), Word / Card games (MS Mahjong and Wordament for eg), and it comes bundled with mobile Word & Excel, it's perfect for reading graphic novels, watching Netflix and checking emails...EXCEPT! the speakers are the cheapest crap I've ever witnessed in a mobile device, seriously, the Nokia 310 sounded better (certainly louder) than this. At first i thought it might be my device but checking out online it seems to be a fairly standard complaint with the only suggestion to buy Bluetooth speakers - luckily I had one. Also the Win10 1709 update (Feb '18) borked the BT / wifi adapter and I had to download the realtek drivers (google it), to get them working, so someone at Lenovo should look into that with some urgency!I almost returned it, but, nothing in this price range that I could find offers the same battery life (really important to me).

Not suitable as either a PC or Tablet
Just dreadful. For this money and with an Atom processor you obviously won't get anything powerful, but the delays and stuttering are unbearable. The WiFi receiver is also extremely weak - it constantly drops out, in parts of the house which my phone and main laptop still reach.Touchscreen is often quite nonreactive, regardless of whether it's in Tablet Mode or not. I find trying to view web pages a strain on the eyes because of the screen size, but if you zoom in using the touch screen then the page scrolling bar stops working. Screen size also means there's no room for a Home button on Google Chrome, which I find a bit frustrating. The track pad is infuriating - I'm constantly touching it whilst trying to type, moving the cursor elsewhere. Half the shortcut buttons on the keyboard (such as volume and screen brightness) don't work either. The picture quality certainly seems decent, but the glare means that you can forget about watching anything without bright colours during the daytime (Game of Thrones was a particular struggle!).I haven't owned any other tablets before, but it seems to me that with this being Windows, it's simply a very low power PC which you happen to be able to detach the screen from. I don't think there's much point in getting something like this on the basis that it can be a tablet, it's so small anyway even with the keyboard attached. If you're after a tablet but need to do typing, I would get a proper one and just buy a separate keyboard. Some people have said that if all you want is an easily portable machine to do light browsing on then this is fine...you may be able to put up with all the cheap nuances, but I've had this for several months and haven't tried to use it for anything remotely heavy-duty, but I've personally still found it incredibly frustrating to use. I think if you need anything to properly work with which is still as portable as this (even as a backup PC), then you need to spend quite a bit more on it.
