Candy Sticks Original (2.5kg Bag)

Great value but I prefer the hard ones these are soft and very sugary

Just like when we where kids

After buying a packet of candy sticks recently from a shop, I was disappointed to find that they were nothing like the ones I remember from my youth, hard and tasteless. I thought I'd give these a try as many of the reviews suggested they were like the old ones used to be.I started with a 1kg bag as a initial trial. Many of the sticks were broken or mis-shaped, but I soon fixed this by eating them first. Happy to report that they were exactly how I remembered them, soft and very 'moreish'. So much so I instantly bought a 2.5kg bag (just to last me until the weekend), unfortunately these were not quite as nice. Much softer, almost too soft, and not quite as tasty. The bag had a name other than BASSETTS on, suggesting they were a cheaper rip off.They still tasted nice, just not as nice as the first bag, which leads me to think that it might be a bit hit and miss on quality and consistency. The only way to find out truly is to order another bag. For the sake of science I should probably try the 3kg bag?

Taste the same as I remember them, they are not as hard what they use to be, but I am enjoying them.

Thought they were normal ones not pineapple flavour horrible
