Works great for large circles and semicircular patterns

Very well made and easy to use.

Nice size, works well. Solid. Negative is that the pencil holder is quirky - you need just the right sized pencil, and tighten like crazy. A lead holder option would be much better. Tightens down well, so no slippage.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this compass to use for creating designs on large tapestries. It works really well, however, there is a real learning curve with using this. I found that it’s best to play around and test the angle at which you hold this, whether it’s on fabric or paper. It’s best to use when standing up and holding firmly up against a wall or the floor.

This was awesome for my art project

I bought this for working on canvas for art - it is not right for that as it is very sturdy and heavy. That being said if I was using it for its stated purpose, it would be perfect. The steel is solid and the mechanism to secure it works well. I bought the 12inch version and that works great for what I want. If you want something sturdy that will last this is for you.

I used this on several occasions making circles and stars for landscaping projects and it works very well and is very sturdy. I've used both the metal tip to scribe concrete as well as a pencil to draw circles for stencils on cardboard and plywood and it has been consistent in its performance.

Got it this afternoon and have already used it, I LOVE it. Very well built, it will last a life time
