Great picture with Sky HD
The item gives a great picture. The IR blaster does a great job as the the delay is not noticeable. There were some issues with using the unit with Sky HD box but a replacement ir sender and receiver was sent to me by customer services.I purchased this one due to the picture quality and it does the job!

Colour banding occurs
Worked with 4k 60hz and HDR from Apple TV and oppo Blu Ray to my projector over cat 6. However, marked colour banding occurred even at lower but rate signals. Eg. 4k 24hz 4.2.2 hdr from the Apple TV. Ended up going back to my old balans which would run at 10Gbs and not this 18Gbs. I can’t do 4k 60hz hdr but at least I don’t have the banding now. I guess there is some compression occurring in the signal to get all the information down a cat 6 cable.

Seems to work fine at 4K over CAT6A
Installed between my UHD blu-ray player and projector this HDMI extender appears to be successfully carrying 4k (24Hz and 60Hz - i lefgt the colour depth and everything else on auto) signals. I've only just installed it and watched just one 4K blu-ray via it, but so far so good.

Works great with sky q which is in a different room
Works great with sky q which is in a different room. The only problem is it is on all the time as it is in a different room. It would be nice to be able to switch it off at the receiving end to save power
