Really catches the flying insects. The insects land on the sticky surface and stay there. The purple light makes a great night light, too

Works well! Plugged these in, and they work great. The light is a pleasant purple. Within 24 hours, it had trapped plenty of gnats. zero noise.

I was really hoping this would work. So far, not a single bug. No gnats, no mosquitoes. I know they are in the house because I wake up with bites on exposed skin. I had no trouble setting it up. Peeling off the paper was a little tricky but not bad. Just don't stop midway....once you get it started just keep pulling it off in a smooth continuous motion. Anyway, again, I'm super disappointed.UPDATE. After about a week in use, it began to get some hits. I now have maybe 5 dead mosquitos. In maybe three days? Every single one caught is a win. So, I will probably order another one of these units. I'm going to kick the rating up to four stars.

these things work so good it’s insane. for context, i’m in an apartment by the river so i unfortunately get a bunch of bugs. i have two of these in my living room/dining room and haven’t seen a bug since. and it caught a COCKROACH?!!??!! yeah, these things are highly worth the money!!!!!

On the Sticky pad you have to pull white paper off to activate the sticky pad. The problem is I’ve bought two of these now and both of them are not easy to remove the paper!! I’m not kidding when I tell you it took me 10 minutes all my strength to pull that paper off and it kept ripping and everything was one big sticky mess! It is unbelievable extremely sticky, but you can’t get the paper off it ripped my hand touched the thing now my hand very very sticky. I can’t get it off my hand either! I tried all kinds of wash, nail polish remover and everything but turpentine, really annoying! So if you don’t mind dealing with it then buy it because it does work, but I’m not kidding when I tell you, it is hard to get that paper off! I think it could be less sticky and still be able to handle a little gnats and flies moths etc.! So unless it melted being delivered to me I don’t know….. BUT IT SHOULD’NT!!

This trap caught 45 bugs in the first two days. It was so full by day three, I had to change the filter! Haha. And I have pretty much eliminated my bug problem already. However..... it only caught one HOUSE FLY, the rest were smaller bugs (which is mostly what I was aiming for so, no harm done in my case, but if your mission is house flies...... I don't know. I don't really have enough house flies IN my house to render an opinion on that.) It is 100% noiseless as far as I can tell and the light does not bother me. I also like that it is rounded, unlike the last one I bought, so that I don't have to look at a bunch of dead bugs when looking at the outlet it's plugged into from the side. We plan on buying a few more of these to spread them around the house. Very easy instructions, easy to use, and made with good quality materials. It's great. I recommend.
