I purchased this as a last-minute hope to ease my motion sickness during a brief trip with ~5 hours of being on a plane and ~2hours of riding in the back seat of an Uber.....all while 5-6 weeks pregnant. I was starting to get the early bits of nausea and I was nervous of flying again since the last time I did that while 7 weeks pregnant it was rough. I was slightly skeptical at the effectiveness before actually using it.I'm so glad I bought it - this little band is incredible! The waterproof and battery life capabilities are absolutely worth the extra money compared to the other version. It's discreet, easy to use & learn/remember the functions (hold for 3 seconds for on/off, press one for up a level, twice for down a level), it's definitely effective at fighting nausea and even slight hunger pains, and it fits great. I was worried I would get a rash from the band like I do with the original Fitbit silicone bands but so far I haven't reacted at all. I wore it nearly all day yesterday, using it for about half the day in total on either level 1 or 2 (I hardly feel level 1 at all, and I haven't gone above level 2 ever). It allowed me to not get car sick, sick on the airplane, or sick from waiting to get lunch when I was starving. I wore it just above my Fitbit on my wrist. My trip was just about 48 hours in total and I'm still using the band on it's original charge while I sit here at my work desk and starting work for the day (currently it's on level 2 and helping to fight some of my mild morning sickness).So the only thing I wish this came with is an extra expander piece - I have a slightly larger than average wrist size for an adult woman, and considering you need to wear this about 2 finger widths above the base of your palm, I'm wearing it in slot 4 out of 14 for the little band notches. If you have particularly large wrists or lower arms there's a chance it might be too small.

After trying a relief band, which seemed to help but was a bad product, I decided to try the emeterm.The quality is superior and less expensive. The unit holds a charge well. Once it warms up to my skin, I do not need the gel and I can drop from 3 to 2 on the pulse. The charging chord holds to the band well (strong magnet) but isn't really long, but way better than the other brand! The band itself is made of some sort of rubber, much like the Samsung watch bands. It stays in place well and looks like it should be a watch, so it doesn't stand out as noticeable, unlike the other relief band brand.It seems to work for the nausea and, bonus, minor headaches, and though these may be psychosomatic (it works because I believe it works not because it really works), I will take it.My only complaint is that I use it at night and the blinking lights are very bright. I marked over the lights with permanent black marker, but it doesn't work as great as I would like... The light shines through the marker coloring. But again, if it stops me from being really nauseous, and has the extra added benefit of minimizing some of my headaches, I'll live with it.I wear this all day every day, only taking it off to shower and charge the unit. No rash and no issues. I do clean it with alcohol pads (they provide a couple) and I only used the gel in the beginning. Now that I figured out it only needs to warm up to my wrist, I don't use the gel.I am glad a friend encouraged me to try these wrist tens units. And I'm happy with Emeterm.

This is the miracle that I’ve been searching for! I have a love of amusement park rides, but my stomach does not. I was skeptical about this product but optimistic. I used this product for 2 days at the new amusement park Epic Universe and was able to ride every ride without even a twinge of motion sickness. I even rode the new roller coaster with inversions and top speed without any issues. Battery life was fantastic, lasting all day without needing to be charged. I’ll never go on a trip again without Emeterm.

This is my second unit. I started with the mini. I used the mini on level 3 or 4. I am able to use level one with this unit, the explore. I am using it for morning sickness, and it does help. My mileage does vary from totally eradicating to sickness to making it manageable. Overall, I would purchase again.Wear: It stays in put pretty well unless I really slop on the conductor gel. I find that I wear it a little higher than indicated on the instructions. I suggest you really play with the placement before moving up a level of intensity. For me, the sensation took some getting used to. I don't even notice it anymore. The materials don't pinch or scratch at any points.Quality: The unit and the accessories all come packaged nicely. The unit itself feels well made. My only minor complaint is that the round button that controls the unit isn't quite centered in the hole. It doesn't affect functionality and most people probably wouldn't notice.Ease of use. The operation is basic and straight forward but adequate. My only minor complaint is that the button can sometimes be hard to push just right. Though, this is preferable to the alternative of a button that is easily and accidentally engaged, especially with its prominent location on your body. All that to say, it could very well be by design that the button takes some effort. I use conducting gel for every use. I also wipe down my wrists. Two cleansing cloths are provided. I got lots of use out of them and then switched to witch hazel pads when they finally ran out.Price Point: Everyone's mileage varies on this, but the value is there for me. Of course, I would rather pay less. But, I have paid more for less and the relief it provides is invaluable. I also really appreciate the spare charging cord! It is proprietary. I have never seen anyone provide two cords, so this is additional value that justifies the cost. The carrying bag is also nice as it fits the gel and cleansing cloths.Customer Service: I have had to reach out to them, and they have been prompt and friendly. Five stars.
