Fun for youn teens to adults.
I've flown drone before so this is not new to me. It great for indoors or a very calm day outdoors. Two batteries are included with this. You can get about 30 minutes of playtime with both batteries. The control is surprisingly responsive. Only issue I have is that it's hard to set the trim on this. I've fiddle with the trim for a while but the drone still wants to drift off center. It's still fun to fly.

Good for beginners
6 year old son loved learning how to fly it with control but it will take some getting use to.

No sense of direction
This toy has a controller but once it gets into the air, it goes wildly wherever and crashes within seconds. We thought maybe our son was struggling to direct it with the controller, but both of us (his parents) attempted to control it as well and had NO luck. We tried taking it outside and as soon as it was midair, it flew across the street. This is not actually remote “controlled” as the user has no control over where this flies. The propellers fly off occasionally and have broken from crashing, but only were provided 1 “extra”.Keep in mind, this was used indoors 99% of the time and the feet are already broken after only using this for one single day which help keep its balance. Attached a photo to show this.Plus, the battery does every 10 minutes. So, this toy is just ultimate chaos in the house. The pterodactyl just crashing into furniture, people, dishes every other second but then every 20 minutes, my son asking to recharge the battery. I wish we hadn’t even ordered this despite just how much my son loves this toy because it’s difficult to give a toy to a child and then turn around and take it away because it operates in such a dysfunctional way.

Some issues, but fun
So, first off, you need to move the left stick up and down to pair the controller each time you use it.Not an issue, just be aware that that's why it's not working.Anyway, the blades are not shrouded. That's a big issue for a toy. It's probably not going to HURT anyone, even a child, but it'll sting. Also it has a lot of trouble maintaining a position (it drifts a lot and isn't very stable).BUT, it's also very sturdy. I've seen other drones in this range made out of foam, but this is a nice sturdy plastic. It works well, it came with 3 batteries so you can charge those while flying it, and it works okay.I have a nephew who loves dinosaurs, and he loves it.It's not great by any means, but it works and it's pretty spiffy.

Tiny toy that's big fun...
The listing describes this drone as a "mini" but it is really small. I've included a quarter in the picture to give you an idea of its size. However, this drone is easy and fun to fly. On the first try without reading much of the manual, I was able to take off, fly it a couple of minutes and land - and this was inside the house! The box says that this drone is for ages 14+. But I don't see any reason why a younger child could not play with it with adult supervision. It flies for a little less than 15 minutes on one charge but comes with 2 extra battery packs so it gives you a decent amount of fly-time total. It also comes with a charger that for me charged the batteries in about 1/2 hour. The charger is USB A so a battery recharger for a phone would work to recharge the batteries in the field. The listing states that it is for indoors but I think it would be fine outside as long as the weather is very calm.It also comes with the transmitter (of course) that is fairly full-featured, 4 extra propellers, a manual and a small screwdriver that's used to open the battery compartment on the transmitter. The transmitter requires 3 AAA batteries that are not included. I can't wait to explore all the features and then maybe I'll give it to one of my grandchildren.
