Vitamix A3500 Ascent Series Gold Label Smart Blender, Professional-Grade, 64 oz. Low-Profile Container, White with Gold Accents

It will take a little time to understand how to get the exact results you want, but this Vitamix is absolutely amazing. Yes, it is loud but not nearly as loud as our last blender. This particular model is quieter than some of the other Vitamix choices. I like that you can purchase additional sizes and a food processor; although I doubt that I'll have that need. Experimenting with the pulse button takes care of my needs since I don't spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I was on the fence about buying the 48-oz or 64-oz container, but I'm very happy I selected the larger container. You can always make less, but can't make more if your container does not allow it. My very favorite option is that this blender is truly is SELF-cleaning! I love not having to disassemble and expose my fingers to sharp blades. It's been many years since I had a new blender and WOW, have they changed. I can't wait to make ice cream and homemade soup in this blender!!! I may even try hot chocolate! This 3500 model fits beautifully under the cabinets. I chose the white label model and it's beautiful with preset buttons + the pulse. FYI: Remember to register warranty right away - it's good for TEN years (that's the reason I upgraded to this model). I called Vitamix directly and was assured the warranty covers units bought through Amazon. I think there are better cookbooks than the "Simply Blending" that come with the unit, but I'm not much in the cooking arena. I also have not used the tamper that was included. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend "Buy NOW" - you will not regret it! (I actually researched blenders for weeks and gulped at the cost, but I truly believe this is the best choice.). This blender is so easy that I've rediscovered the kitchen - ha!!! Right now, I'm in withdrawal from making "malts" every night. It's so much fun. I am freezing root beer right now in prep for another "experiment". Wish me luck. :)

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this three months ago.. We only use like four times. And it doesn’t work right properly. The machine working on and off. We need to return it.

While really expensive, it handles fruits and veggies well. Easy to use button or variable knob. Quiet until you get to the highest variable levels 6–10. Makes quick work and no mess.

We upgraded to the Ascent model blender in order to use the personal blending cup and bowl. The cup and bowl have now been recalled. Instead of re-designing the cup and bowl to be safe and sending them to customers who spent a lot of money to buy the accessories, Vitamix sent a cheap plastic "shroud" to cover the blade. What used to be small, convenient, and easy to store accessories, are now large, inconvenient, and difficult to store accessories. Disappointed in Vitamix's decision to make a cheap fix after we've spent thousands of dollars on Vitamix blenders and Vitamix accessories over the years. Vitamix customer service was unhelpful and would not accept a return of the blending cup and bowl. Vitamix used to be a quality company, and now it is not. Steer clear.
