The material appears to be heavy duty and not light weight like some other brand. So far the cover was able to help maintaine the water temperature and not loosing any heat during the night. Great purchase!

Good quality. These covers not only keep the temperature up in the pool overnight but they are equally useful to prevent evaporation. I have purchased several over the years because they last only 3 years or so in salt water pools before starting to break down and kind of disintegrate. I consider it a cost of pool maintenance and worthwhile saving energy and water costs.

The solar cover I ordered and received had been returned to Amazon by another person. It was inspected by Amazon and deemed to be in new condition but the shipping box was in rough shape. When I opened the box the item looked new and unused but during the unrolling process I think I detected what looked like bird poop, moisture and a leaf. None of that should harm the cover but it was not what I expected. As far as the covers construction, it looks OK but only time will tell how well it holds up to the sun and water chemistry of the pool.

I like that the pool water is warmer by a number of degrees and extends the swim season. Added benefit is the reduction of evaporation of water.

Late and defectivePromised by 8th, shipped on 12th. The pool cover was TWO PIECES, not welded together. Then I had to fit it back in the box to return it. Stay away

Not too heavy but heavy enough, looks like good quality, very happy it’s made in the USA, box was in good condition, product was rolled nicely in the box. Don’t know the longevity yet but if it lasts 2+ years I’ll be happy. Best to unroll and put on the first time with 3 people. One on each side to pull it from its folded position and one person to hold it on the back end of folded position. Flip it over to find the ends and bubble down position before unraveling it. I’m very grateful I finally found something decent. Excellent blue color too. Made in Chicago too!
