Bought for my husband and the material is a pretty thick "leather" he loves it, and it'll go perfectly with his Renaissance gear that has been slowly falling apart. The long cloak is shear and see through, a long with the hood, but they'll be great for summer months because of that.

The shoulder harness is difficult to put on reference to the picture to help you The wrist guards easy to do by looking at the picture The hood / mask in the picture is just a cloth you have to do it yourself I recommend using it as a giant bandana works greatest that way overall good quality

I like the long straps because they were easy to cut to length. The faux leather is not thick, and I was able to pop holes in the straps easily. One of the latches of the sword frog broke as I was adjusting them. The latches are flimsy, so be careful if you adjust them. Ultimately, I fit my sword scabbard through it, and it held just fine.I don't like the belt because I was putting some weight on it, and I think it is too flimsy. I will buy a latching belt, so I don't have to do an intricate knot to get it to stay tight.I think it is a good starter kit, and adding to it will be easy. The shoulder pads shifted a lot, and I had to fix them occasionally. The fair I attended did not allow glass bottles, so I used that pouch to hold my phone. I have a Galaxy S22 Ultra, and my phone was easily accessible while also being secure.Throughout the day, three different kids called me a knight, and I thought that was cool. I prefer mercenary, but hey, you can look like a knight, according to three random kids.

Love all but the cloak. Everything feels great, looks great, super easy to use and put together with multiple fits. Breathable. But the cloak is trash...!! You can tell they added 3 pieces together and seamed it. Which the seams are TERRIBLE. The whole cloak is uneven. Good material, just isn't put together well at all..

This is a great deal for an awesome set. Given how inexpensive it was (less than $50 when I purchased) I expected the quality to be low, but I was surprised by how good it was. Even the shawl/scarf is made of a very soft and comfortable material, which I wish I could get more clothes made from.Each piece arrived packaged sisterly, but contained within a nice box. There wasn't a single disappointment within. I'm very happy with my purchase and this seller. I'll be enjoying these costume pieces for years to come.

This gear isn't super fancy but it is a great base for those who don't have time or space to hand craft. I have had time to add fur and paint to it when I got it to theme it better and avoiding having to pay an extra 100-300. The plastic bottle is eh and doesn't really stay well in the holder I had at least and ended up making it for another thing. That was the main issue I did find that was kinda sad.

It's a neat little set, but my biggest complaint with this is the lies about the shoulders being resizable. You can see in every one of the screenshots that people provide that the pauldrons look only similar to the image described. There's no attachments on the shoulders. There's absolutely NO resizing buckles, as is in the image. So if you don't fit the exact size they want, for this, then good luck.I will say that the belt is large. So large, in fact, that you'll be REQUIRED to cut it. (I want to say it was about 5-6 feet long)
