Plastic is opaque and not clear as pictures suggest. Also came dirty and immediately sent back

I found this acrylic book stand quite attractive looking and elevated the look of my space. It's sturdy and simple to assemble. The material is thick and it was able to carry my heavy Tom Ford book. The acrylic came with a thin layer that I was able to peel, to reveal the beautiful clear acrylic. I personally found it to work good. The only warning I can advise is the sharpness of the edges. It scratched my table when I dragged it to adjust. I recommend lifting it when adjusting it, and not nudging it on the wood surface, or else it may scratch the wood.

Not ideal for books. May work fine for displaying VERY LIGHT magazines.

The media could not be loaded. This acrylic book stand is very pretty. It is well made and easy to put together. I like it better for a medium size book rather than a large one because I still like to see a bit of the design of the stand. When I placed a larger blood on it, although it held it up just fin, I could not see the stand very much. I am in love with the acrylic though.
