This thing is awesome!
I am obsessed with this baby airplane bed! I just took a cross country trip with my 10-month-old for the holidays and used it for the first time. We didn't bother bringing the pump and my husband was able to easily inflate it himself. It gave my daughter plenty of room to stretch out when awake and playing, and to sleep when it was nap time. We had several people including 2 flight attendants tell us how great it was and that they now plan to get them for their kids. I had emailed Southwest Airlines prior to our trip to confirm that we could use it. They didn't give me a straight answer and rather just gave me the seat dimensions. It definitely fit perfectly well and made our trip much more comfortable than having to keep her on our laps or in her carseat the whole time. I definitely recommend this product.

Unable to inflate due to defective plug
One of the plugs was too large for the plug hole and we were unable to inflate the bed. Of course we found this out in the middle of the flight. It is also very bulky, took most of our carry on luggage.

Perfect for international flights but ...
We used this with my then 18-month old twins on our long leg of the flight to Taiwan on United. And overall it was fantastic, my twins slept 7-8 hour on both flights there and back. There are multiple comments about it being allowed or not based on the airlines and I will have to say it's very dependent on the flight attendant. My aunt is a flight attendant for United and I asked her before we went in the flight if it was allowed and she said it was fine as long as it is not blocking a path or exit row. We had bulk head seats and on our way there we had no issues until they changed shifts about half way thru the 14 hour flight. Then I had a flight attendant come tell me that I had to pick up my twins and deflat the bed if the fasten seat belt sign is on. The twins were sleeping and I was not about to wake up a sleeping toddler, let along TWO toddlers. They would be miserable and screaming and making all 300+ people on the flight miserable as well. After a few more back in forth which ended with me telling her that I was wide awake to watch over my babies and I was not about to wake them up for some turbulence. She backed off but was a petty Nancy to me the rest of the flight while I had the other flight attendant apologize for her rudeness. Our flight back to the states was much less uneventful and I had no issues all.Cons: the material is thin. I had blown the beds up at home for a test just to see how they fit and if the babies liked them. Deflated then within 10 mins and stored them away. The second time I blew it up was on the plane and we ended up getting a small hole on the "leg" of the bed. I could figure out where the hole was the patch it so every hr I would just reinflate it. Thank goodness we were in bulkhead seats so I had room to just kneel down and blow it up while my babies were sleeping. I fixed that hole once we arrived but on our flight back another hole formed on the bed portion of the second bed. It was super frustrating. I'm not sure how these holes happen as the beds were always stored away in the travel bag when not in use. I can only assume it was the material.

Worked well
This worked well on a 10 hour flight for our 2 year old toddler, however it was a little tight of a fit due to limited leg room in economy, so we had to kind of push it down to fit. Our toddler slept 6 of the 10 hours! FYI you don't need to lug around the pump, it blew up fine the old fashion way. Giving this 4 stars only because it's a bit bulky in terms of storing it in your luggage and I wish it was slightly shorter in length for a better fit in economy seats. Tip - check with the airline before your flight to make sure they allow use of this blow up bed.

Absolutely worth the purchase
My son is 11 months old and we took our first family vacation. We bought this bed in hopes that the flight wouldn’t be full and we could use the seat next to us for our baby. We got lucky and the flight was not full and we got to put the bed to use. It fit perfectly on the Southwest Airlines. My little one fell straight to sleep and looked comfortable laying in this. Gave mommy and daddy’s arms a much needed break and I was happy he looked comfortable sleeping. I would highly recommend this toddler bed to mamas traveling!

love it!
this made my flight so easy as I was traveling with my son by myself. eqsy to inflate and I was able to walk around and use the restroom while he was asleep.thank you . the only thing is that you need to ask the airline policy if you can use it because the air hostess were tripping. They didn't want me to use it but I still did.

Can’t wait to use it!
This hiking bed is made of high-quality materials, breathable, soft, safe, and durable. The size is very suitable for children. My son was able to sleep soundly throughout the entire flight. And I don't have to worry about him at all!
