My cat loved this cat food
My cat went crazy for this food and asked for more! She is a picky eater, but the shreds in broth were easy for her and she really lapped it all up. I put this on my favorites so I can get it again. The taste selections were very nice and offer a nice variety in the box. The ingredients look great and when I opened the can my cat went crazy for the smell.

My cat loves the chicken and liver shredded cat food. Eats it all and licks the bowl clean.

Good ingredients, although my cats don't like it
While it might seem odd to give something four stars while acknowledging that my cats don't like it, I have raised a lot of cats in my 70+ years and I know that cats are nothing if not picky, and their tastes cannot be easily predicted.I rotate several canned foods in my cats' feeding regimen because I've found that this keeps them interested, particularly as they grow older. My last four cats lived into their mid-20s, with one of them coming within a few months of being 29 and, while they will eat the same kibble day after day, they quickly grow bored with the same canned food.In evaluating a canned cat food, the most important thing to me is the ingredient list. Letting a cat decide what it wants to eat is a bit like allowing your child to eat whatever he wants to eat. Consequently, the only choices that I give to my cats are those that are made from good ingredients. This has a lot to do with what's not in it, such as corn, soy, wheat, byproducts, gluten, and fillers, and the first ingredient or ingredients should be fish, fowl, or meat. The ingredient list for Stella & Chewy's Carnivore Cravings Tuna and Mackerel Recipe begins with Tuna, Tuna Broth, Mackerel, Sunflower Oil, and Tapioca, and concludes with a list of vitamins, minerals, and other ingredients that don't look scary to me.The bad part was that neither of my two cats would eat it. They wouldn't even taste it and, after the first couple of tries, they would walk away as soon as I opened the can. Now, I understand that for a lot of reviewers that would automatically result in a one or two-star rating. However, I am well aware that there are a lot of other good foods that my cats won't eat either. For that matter, I am told that broccoli is good for me, but I won't eat that either.I am sure that there are plenty of other cats who will happily eat this stuff and do well as a result. When my cats don't eat their canned food, I set it on the back porch for some strays or feral cats who come around. Fortunately for them, I try a lot of different foods that my cats don't like, so they do pretty well for themselves. As an added bonus, because my cats made it quite clear that they don't like this stuff, and I bought a case of it, they haven't had to wait around for the leftovers. They like it and, yes, there have been some premium cat foods that even the feral cats wouldn't eat.Seriously, this seems to be some good stuff. If your cat likes it, she should do well with it.

My cats love it
Our cats love this food. It’s basically shredded chicken in gravy sauce. They are fussy cats and won’t eat pate. This gives them a treat and something different from their hard food.

Too soupy! Not Really Carnivore!
The media could not be loaded. My cat doesn't like this by itself. I do usually mix her food anyway so I'm going to mix some of this with her old food. I tried giving her the chicken and beef but she did NOT like it! Even mixed with her old food, she didn't like it. That chicken and beef one is basically a soup, it's so loose and liquidy. The one on the video, mackerel and tuna, is thicker but it's still too soupy, like a thick soup. She likes the paté or little chunks a lot better. I ordered the variety pack and I don't know what I'm going to do with all this. This is going to last me a very long time if I keep it because I'm going to have to mix it with her old food so it's going to take me forever to finish this. I'm not going to buy this again though. As far as their "carnivore" claim, that is not true either. If a food is going to be carnivore, there should be no vegetables mixed in with it. I am actually trying to find a real carnivore food for my cat. I might have to just give her ground chicken and ground beef mixed together or ground beef mixed with tuna. I don't know, but I just want meat for her, NO vegetables. And I know I'm going to have to mix in some organ meat as well.

A lot of juice and gravy but not for the finicky kitty
Both of my cats are picky eaters. This is probably because I've trained them to be this way by constantly trying to find something they like and changing the food if they don't love it. Anyway, this is how they are now! Both cats love broth, juicy and gravy in/on whatever they choose to eat. So, when I first opened a can of this variety pack of cat food, I though they'd love it because it was swimming a liquidy juice with thin, but real shavings of chicken. They both sniffed it but neither licked it. Both tried burying it. I ended up giving it to the stray cat who comes by daily and she really loved it! The liquid was bright yellow so perhaps it had some additives that was off putting to my indoor cats. After they turned their noses up at it, I put it aside and gave it to the stray cat a couple of times until I realized that I hadn't given any of the other flavors a try on my indoor cats after they turned down the chicken can. This IS a variety pack, afterall. So, I ended up trying a different flavor that had seafood in it and it was a completely different consistency and overall appearance. This one didn't contain pieces of real and identifiable food in it. Instead, it was all brown, had chunks of, what I would describe as round pate balls, and gravy. One of my cats like the gravy on this one and licked most of it up but left the chunks of pate behind. My other girl wasn't having this one either.Unfortunately, overall, this food wasn't a success with my cats, aside from the stray cat outside who isn't a picky eater. It's a good price but if they don't eat it, they price doesn't really matter.
