A life changing addition to anyone's home
Toto quality and feature rich. You could spend hours sitting and just reading the manual. Even if you are a speed reader, you would still want to sit and enjoy the experience.

For a sparkling clean undercarriage...
What's the worst feeling 30 minutes after you've gotten out of the shower? Yep- needing to take another dump. Fear not, because the Toto Washlet can give your undercarriage that fresh out-of-the-shower, sparkling clean feeling without all of the drama. No late-day dingleberries from a mid-morning deuce or a needing a full roll of TP to cleanup after that enchilada plate you had for lunch. Get one of these at home, convince your boss to install one at work, and for the rest of the time-get the Toto portable bidet (seriously!).While the it's ability to keep your bunghole clean is fantastic, I will say that the dryer function is only so-so for those of us that are follically blessed. For the ladies and other hairless people, it seems to work pretty good and all but eliminates TP usage for them. Be clean and save a buttload on toilet paper costs...get one today!

Easy to install and effective
Expensive but has all the bells and whistles. Programming it properly is a bit difficult as the instructions are not very good. The bowl lights up transiently and the side (fight side) nightlight goes on for a more prolonged period when you enter the water closet. Upon entering the cover automatically goes up and you are greeted with a warmed seat. The sprays work effectively. I am pleased with the purchase. I am not handy but this was a cinch to set up

Downgrade from the previous
Honestly, if you've got an s550e -- don't bother with this as an upgrade. I saw that both the s550e and s7a were the same(ish) price and went with the newest model for my guest bathroom, and learned the hard way that without a screen on the back, the settings configuration process is similar to a game console cheat code. That process becomes extremely tedious if you're going to change several settings in 'quick' succession -- as there is a 10 second button-press required, then two buttons to indicate which setting to change, and a third to turn the feature on/off or select between ~3 settings. If you are purchasing this as your first bidet, then there shouldn't be much of a problem in terms of bias; especially as most settings I reference above is mostly a one-and-done. I just feel the previous model had a better way to organize settings and in a nicer form factor.

Toto, the Japanese masters of toilet technology !
I recently upgraded my bathroom with the Toto S7A bidet seat, which is replacing a much cheaper (and now faulty) Luxe E850 bidet seat (Amazon have stopped selling this). The S7A by Toto is 4 times the cost, but I do hope it'll last a lot longer than the cheaper alternative.Installation was a breeze, taking less than 30 minutes from unboxing to first use. It's exactly what you'd expect from Toto, the Japanese masters of toilet technology - high quality, innovative, and user-friendly.However, not everything is perfect. I'm disappointed that the bowl light doesn't stay on by default. You spend this much on a bidet toilet seat, and you want it to look nice. The cheaper seat it replaced had an LED night light in the bowl which stayed on (timed for 12 hours). Unless I can't figure out the manual, I can't get the same on the Toto.Additionally, the seat lid doesn't recline as far back as I'd like, and unfortunately, this isn't adjustable, which is a minor annoyance in an otherwise stellar product. The remote control is a highlight, packed with features to tailor your experience. The most frequently used functions are conveniently located on the front, making them easily accessible. For the more specific settings, buttons on the back handle your custom preferences. Admittedly, navigating these settings can require a quick consult with the manual due to the combination of different buttons needed. Thankfully, the default settings are spot-on, so most users won't need to fiddle much to enjoy a comfortable experience.

I can't live without it
When I must use a regular toilet I'm shocked by the cold seat and instantly reminded of why I have this at home. Everyone should have this.

Works great. Takes awhile to get used to the functions.
I would highly recommend. Works well. Automatic seat that you can gently sit on. When i go on vacation i miss the seat!

Gets you daisy fresh!
As we get older, things don’t work as well as they used to. Getting yourself clean gets harder as time goes on. This washlet is a godsend.
