The display pictured here is the oem display you can tell by looking at the microchip and the small logo's.The one I received is not. The microchip is too big and the ribbon cable is not wrapped tight enough to fit. Any attempt to reassemble your phone will be likely to break the display.If they showed the actual display in their listing, replaced that,fixed the bulky ribbon cable under the copper foil IC with a smaller one I would give this 4 stars over the rest of the generic displays for keeping the sensors functional and being brighter then the rest of the generics

So the display is nice enough. The adhesive that comes with it is useless. It's doesn't come off of the backing right and ends up being useless to the install. I had my own adhesive and just used that. Otherwise the install went perfectly since it's very easy to change the display on this phone. It's a nice product but we'll see how it lasts over time. I think it will pass the test is time but you never know with non OEM displays.

the ic is very large and makes a weird bump on the bottom right of the screen but it's good enough. I hope the glass doesn't crack as easily as the S7 screens
