Q: Does this come with the handrail as seen in the product images?

Yes it does. There is a straight rectangular box section supplied with holes drilled at each end. This enables this rail piece to be bolted into the 2 upright sections which also supplies stability to the whole structure.

Q: Would this be any good for use on a staircase?

Depends on width of stairs. The feet are wider than the average staircase.

Q: What’s the safe working height from the platform? Our ceiling is 3.15m will we be able to decorate using this?

Its got two settings. The lower one is 72cms off the ground and I use that one when painting ceilings. I live in a 1920s bungalow so the ceiling height is 2.55m. I'm 5ft 7inches and that's perfect for me without any stretching or reaching. The higher setting is 100cms off the ground and I use it when cutting hedges and cleaning gutters because its a bungalow. I agree with the previous answer. Measure your reach and add one metre. Once set up it's solid and sturdy and I'm really pleased with it.

No longer have the instructions. However assembly is relatively straightforward and can be followed but just looking at the photo of the finished assembly. The only point of difficulty that I remember is the location of the platform stays. The platform can fit on either the 4th or 3rd rungs of the ladders. The short stay has two locations on the side of one of the ladders for alignment with the chosen platform level. The long stay has only one hole position on the other ladder but two locations on the platform depending on which level is used (outer one for 4th rung and inner for 3rd rung). Good ides to get all these parts correctly aligned before bolting them in place. The ladder for the short stays is that with the hooks.
